Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I’m early since i just booked my cruise for next summer but trying to plan ahead to keep costs down since I just put down a million dollars on the cruise lol. Does anyone stay nearby the port at a reasonable nice hotel that offers shuttle to port? Or even one that’s close that I can take a cab. Planning to fly in the evening before. Will even consider ft Lauderdale if they have shuttles to port depending on flight prices. Thank you
  2. Anyone have experience with it? Purchase from resort for a day? What are your thoughts? Is it crowded? Worth the price? And within true walking distance from port? Ty
  3. I know it’s a big ship and I know it’s a lot of people. But I’m hearing that you can’t even get anywhere near the pools and I’m going in two weeks. Granted, I know I’m not on the cruise just for the pools but we like to spend the majority of the day in the water. I’ve never been on a ship this big and it’s starting to freak me out a little bit. What about the lines for the waterslides and stuff? Are they just as bad? I just wanna sit down and relax. it’s been a hell of a few months. I don’t even have a balcony to sit out on. Yes I’m on a cruise and I’m grateful so please don’t slam me lol. Just looking for a little reassurance from someone.
  4. I know the parking at the port is $30 a day. We are just looking at all different alternatives and while doing a Google search, we found something that said $20 a day for a parking lot adjacent to the terminal. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it worth the savings? Too much of a hassle? Is it a long walk to the ship from the outer parking lot? We are just looking at all of our options and of course, looking to cut costs where necessary. Thank you.
  5. I just found a cruise compass from a prior sailing, and I only saw one mention of Laser tag for the whole sailing and I didn't see any mention of the Escape room. I'm just wondering if this is the case. Do you just book times for the escape room? and do they only have laser tag one day? Thanks.
  6. Same. I saw it with my dad as a kid. My 15 year old has no desire to see it so I guess not the worst thing if I miss it lol
  7. Agreed. I have been to Nassau several times to me it’s one and done. Not a Bahamas fan. Ty for your reply!
  8. Thank you. I go august 4th. Going with a group of 16 but I booked later than them so I’m the only one without a balcony and only single. Most have kids but when they go off and go their own thing they will have eachother 🤷🏼‍♀️. My teen probably gonna leave me too lol. I’m sure I’m stressing for nothing
  9. I haven't been on RCCL in about 10 years and so excited for Oasis and reading reviews making me nervous. People saying that it's too crowded, not enough to do during the day, everything closes early, no towel animals? lol. And just overall lots of complaints. I sure hope this isn't the case. Anyone have good things to say? I know it's not carnival but I do like to see cruise director and stuff and people bringing the fun on, hearing some carribbean music and to be entertained as well as relax. Going with a variety of people, in our 50's and some 40's and kids mostly teens. Just looking for some positives. Thanks.
