I think I know the answer but I’m just verifying. Can an FCC from Celebrity be used on RCCL?

We're with you on Constellation 11/7, so I also hope that one flies!
Here's a fairly comprehensive explanation of all of the Royal restart changes:
Edit: Nuts, they blocked my link. It's all over on the royal caribbean blog site. Very detailed.
For Radiance, it appears that all of these are canceled:
Radiance of the Seas departing Miami: October 15, 2021- April 10, 2022
We received an email last night advising that our Radiance cruise on 3/4/22 was cancelled. Now we are hoping that the Constellation on 1/14/22 will sail as scheduled.

My TA handles everything for me. In addition you get OBC from the TA. My cruise I’m leaving on Saturday has $725 in OBC from Celebrity and another $600 from the TA, so very worth it to not book directly.
Surprising more people don’t understand this!

Ok Bnurick,
I have been following and reading every detail shared so I would like to first thank you for posting your experience.
Now you deserve a commission, we just booked a Sky Suite for August 28th! Can’t wait to get back on the seas. We have 6 cruises booked for next year but after reading about your experience we couldn’t wait to January.
What time do you set sail out of Nassau today. Would like to watch on the web cam.
Thanks again, have an outstanding evening and safe travels home.
Cheers! 🍸
Nice post!

Thanks everyone for all the information. Is the $65 fee per person or per cabin

I would also caution that there have been times due to weather/seas that Dominican Republic stops have changed or skipped- the port was changed on a cruise we were previously on and I have heard of inablity to tender due to rough seas on others
Thanks for the response. Is Puerto Plata a tender or docking port?

We are on a 10 day cruise in January ‘22 on the Constellation. We are considering debarking 2 days early in Puerto Plata to spend a few weeks at a resort in the DR. Has anyone had any experience in doing this with Celebrity.
Thanks in advance for any info. -

That sounds pretty good to me. Is it all in?
That’s a great price!

If the cruise line can be profitable at 35% occupancy, they will be printing money when occupancy returns to normal.
You don’t understand. See post #78

And for international cruises, I can see it’s value in being safe and secure.
You do realize that violent crime rates are much higher in some US port cities than most foreign ports

We have cruised out of NJ about 6 times on 10-12 day cruises. I agree with previous posters that by day 2 you are in fairly warm weather - maybe not swimming but comfortable. However on every cruise, the last sea day (usually the 3rd consecutive ) has been cold and windy but we consider that 1 lost day well worth not having to fly to Florida

Celebrity uses a different business model than Royal and probably relies less on casino income. Of course a nonsmoker who wants a smoke free casino can certainly book Celebrity.
I doubt you know anything about the business models of either Royal or X.

I wish social distancing became a Federal and Maritime law. No more cramped dining rooms or sitting shoulder to shoulder on deck.
You can always move to the luxury lines where spacing is more like you would prefer. Or you could even charter a private yacht. Remember, you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the heads up!
Regarding this:
"Since the virus spreads more easily between people in close quarters aboard ships, the chance of getting COVID-19 on cruise ships is high"
If this is true, then isn't it also true that this should apply to planes? Talk about close quarters!
We’ve been on 4 flights since February and they all have been 100% full, six across in coach. Agree that cruise lines are getting “special treatment” by the CDC

Think i can make an 11am flight out of FLL after docking in Port Everglades?
No I don't want to carry off myself. But I will have access to the Suite Concierge who can help us get whatever departure tag we need.
I normally believe in paying more for the right times, but the price difference between the 11am and the 12:15pm is more than $1,600.
That's an overwater cabana in CocoCay. lol
It’s very easy to get to the airport by 8:00am. That’s 3 hrs prior to the flight. I’ve traveled 3 times in 2021 and the airport lines are not excessively long. So I say yes, go for it.
That said, I would walk off at 7:00-7:30. -

Interesting turn of events, Hopefully it happens.
No surprise. Desantis has been pro business furing the pandemic. Hard to believe DisneyWorld has been open for 11 months, Disneyland is still closed

I'm retired from Public Safety (In Mass.). Most often unless you're in a higher level in the chain of command, then we're often the last to know what's going on with day to day operations. I'm doubtful this officer in the P A will know more about cruise ships returning now. (just my opinion)
You’re a 100% right

Not the current death rate. Obviously they had a horrific start however if you only look at recent results they are definitely not the highest.
Tell that to family members of all the early victims. A real shame what happened.

He has been and still is controlling. Restaurants not 100%, with the mandated social distancing, more like 75% at best. Enough of the masking already- follow the science unless it requires him to give up his kingship.
Plus the death rate in NJ is the highest in the country.

Why don’t you just purchase the cabin type that you want. So many people want free “stuff”
