Canada dropping requirements 1 October, even for cruise ship pax. Link is here. Unfortunately, that won't apply is your cruise is in September.
Hope you are having a blast!
Why? Their Canadian cruise leaves NJ on 9/29 but doesn’t arrive in Canada until 10/4.

One suggestion, alter your reservation so either you or your fiancé is listed in their cabin and get them the balcony booking discount.
We all complain about cutbacks by the cruise lines, but they are constantly dealing with customers who have no qualms about this type of behavior

Just saw this at Celebrity. Onboard Casino New Hours - 7 days/week - 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Cannot believe this. Don't they make money in the casino any more. I do like the casino. It is a source of entertainment for me (playing the slots).
And you believe everything you read?

The price of the day pass for our February cruise is $150pp. Is this item ever put on sale and how low might it go? I know it is supply/demand and we are the only ship docked that day

I probably should know but what are the numbers next to the names?

Do you actually know where Orlando is? Apparently RCI thinks it is on the coast.
Yeah, walking distance to the gates of Disney from the ship. 😄
Why don’t you let this go. We all know where Orlando is and don’t need your sarcastic comments

You have that right. Going to Mexico in November. Easy. Going to New England and Canada next week and the paperwork is pure hell
Please, it’s a simple form that should take 10 minutes.

WE have a stop in Port Canaveral and Royal is not offering transportation to Disney, Does anyone know another way to get to the Magic Kingdom with a 20 month old. Thanks in advance
I would strongly recommend not trying to go to Disney from a cruise stop in PC

If I'm mistaken just have your friends make their own reservations. It only takes a few seconds.
Have fun.
You are not mistaken.

I think I’m hearing that the port stop in Miami will be at a main POM cruise ship terminal. We are in port from 9 to 5 and I am planning to Uber to South Beach to browse and have lunch. Is that a reasonable plan?

Out of Port Miami, ships typically originate and end there - it is not considered a port stop with a few exceptions and emergencies.
That’s what I thought but we just booked a cruise which has Miami as a port stop.

Ships do not dock in Orlando. They would have to put wheels on the ship to drag it 45 miles inland. Orlando is not even in the same county as Port Canaveral.
Thanks for yr sarcastic answer but RCCL lists the port stop at Port Canaveral as Orlando.

There is a PDF link on this page to view the upcoming cruise ship schedule for Port Canaveral. You can see which ships are in port on the day you make your call. It won't definitively tell you what terminal you'll be docked at, but can give you an idea if you are the only Royal ship in port that day.
Thanks

For Orlando, it depends which ships are in port that day. If you are coming in on Oasis for a port call on the same day that Harmony or Independence is docked at Terminal 1, then you will dock over by Terminal 5. Still in the same general area, not like it's miles away or anything. If Terminal 1 is open, then you will dock there. Not sure about Miami.
We will be on the Anthem.

When cruises visit Orlando and Miami, do they use different docks than cruises originating from those ports?

We already filled out our arriveCAN info but also was reading that we need to resubmit again 72 hours prior to getting to Canada. is this correct? It's my first time cruising to Canada so apologies if this has been asked already. Thank you!

I've often wondered about this. I often see ;posts wondering who is the CD on this or that ship/sailing. I've never understood why it mattered. I know for me I really don't care. Never met one that wasn't essentially the same as all the others.
Well said, agree 100%. A few arguments above claim the CD is important for all the entertainment planning and coordination. There is no debate that is true but they all seem to be equally qualified in that area

For those of us not on a B2B-We are taking a cruise out of Boston that goes to Canada. Is it my understanding that we fill out the ArriveCAN before getting on the ship? I think? also that we have to test two days before the cruise and not three like some do. Just seeing if I am understanding all of this correctly.
That’s my understanding. We are leaving from NJ next month.

I would definitely take the Equinox, a no-brainer for us.

We checked in about 9:30am of the 1st day and had our choice of boarding times.

CVS still doing rapid tests in PA, but must go into the store.

I could care less of what they know, don't know, or what others opinions are. Prepaid tips, is the customary amount for the international industry called cruises. I tip the customary amount. How and who gets it, I don't care, I don't ask, and I have never had an employee give me bad service.
I agree. Who cares

Just checked in on the first day, about 9:00am and got a 11:00 slot. People are overthinking this one.

We are also on the 9/29 cruise. I would expect clarification from RCCL soon if we need to test. No sense calling, no one will know until the website is updated. You could change your test date into Wednesday to buy time
