There are many “obstructed view” balconies on deck 6. But still better than no balcony.

Is there a way to change the time without cancelling and rebooking? The price has increased.

Bus service was restored in early 2024 but was later discontinued. Just wondering if anyone is aware of plans to restart it for the Fall season. We have a Oct cruise on the Symphony.

One of those instances where contradictory answers are both kinda true! 🤣
To the best of my knowledge, all ships with a Solarium Bistro take reservations for dinner (not for breakfast or lunch). If we're still talking about the Symphony, then it's a definite yes. And if you want a popular time, there is a chance that reservations will fill up.
That being said, I don't think I've ever been there when every table is full, and if they can seat you without a reservation, they will. So if you know your plans ahead of time, it's quick & easy to just pick your time and reserve a table. If not, you will most likely be able to eat there anyway--you just might have to be slightly more flexible. 🙂
You may be right but we’ve been on 8 cruises on the Quantum class and 6 cruises on Oasis class and eat dinner there at least twice per cruise. We never had a reservation and never waited > 5 minutes.

Do you have to make a reservation for dinner at the Solarium Bistro? Do you do this ahead of time or on the ship?
No

Hello, anyone been recently to Arawak Cay? How is the beach and restroom facilities? I know the Fish Fry is the main event.
Would be interested in the distance from the port area to the Fish Fry. Thanks

Our least favorite is “Cats”

We have purchased an annual travel insurance policy (GeoBlue Trekker Essential) for many years, and supplement this coverage with the insurance benefits from our Chase Sapphire Reserve card. We purchase our plan through Steve at tripinsurancestore.com, he has a website filled with great information.
For us, our biggest concern is an expensive medical issue in a foreign country, and things that can have a big impact on us financially, the things that could get into the six figures. We are not concerned for things that we could recover ourselves from financially if an issue occurred, such as cancelling a trip, delays, interuption; while that can be unpleasant, it is not a financial burden.
We travel internationally for a large portion of the year, and this has worked well for us. But I believe everyone has to assess their risk tolerance, and what is important to them when they make insurance decisions.
Also, you'll want to study the coverage to see you are getting a plan that meets your needs, as many of these annual plans do not cover you in the US (and you mentioned US travel), but you likely have a primary insurance plan.
You should be able to remove the insurance plan from your cruise booking, if that is what you choose to do.
We have the same GeoBlue plan for the same reasons. Have not bought cruise insurance since.

Could anyone tell me if you can transfer booking of the yearly "free" tier cruise, to a TA for added perks/ OBC. Or if you can book outright thru a TA.
Thanks for any info.
TAs make no money on a free casino cruise, so nothing to share.

You fell for it, plain and simple.. That old saying still carries weight today. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Try reading my post again. We didn’t fall for anything, just a warning that it’s in more ports than just Nassau

We ran into very similar scams in Cozumel and Roatan last month right at the port side shops. They always try to get you inside their store/booth to demonstrate the product and then complete the scam
The cruise lines must be aware of this but resist telling everyone that their port stops are risky
