We just sailed on Caribbean Princess and gym opened at 7:00 a.m. but could not use the treadmills until 8:00 a.m .because of cabins beneath. We were very unhappy.

HAL gyms open at 6:00 a.m. and everything can be used.

What is Ocean Medallion? Please explain. Thanks

Will miss the gym on Holland America ships which opened with everything available at 6:00 a.m. Also, has a wraparound Promenade deck for walking.

I posted this question but forgot to mention what ship. I'd like to know what time the gym opens in the morning on the Caribbean Princess ship.

Would like a recent Caribbean Cruiser to tell what time the gym opens in the morning.

We received notice that our boarding time is 2:30. Will they check us in if we come earlier than this. We do have Priority Boarding Passes. Will we be able to go to our cabin if we board earlier?

Can you take onboard a bottle of champagne in place of one of the two bottles of wine you can take onboard free of paying a corkage fee?

Husband will be unhappy with gym opening at 7 o'clock instead of 6 o'clock. We were at the door before six and the attendant would come at that time to unlock the door. It certainly was being utilized that early.

On Caribbean Princess in July. Where do Princess ships dock in St. Thomas?

Crown Bay or Havensight?

I understand that we can not order a wine package when doing a 7 night cruise.

We will take the one person allotted free of corkage fee bottle of wine on board and two more and pay corkage. We will want a couple more for dinner time. Does anyone have a wine list of bottles for sale that they could post on here? Also can we buy wine in St. Marten and St. Thomas and bring on board and pay the corkage?

Can you purchase bottles of wine at ports and then pay corkage fee ($15) when you return to the ship? Or do I have to take the wine onboard when we board the ship and pay the corkage fee then?

We are considering a Princess cruise and are Platinum. Most of our cruises have been on Holland America and they have wine packages we purchase. Does Princess have wine packages we can buy? I know we can take two bottles on board but we will want to have wine when dining in the MDR.

We enjoy Lincoln Center Stage with the Classical music. Do all the Holland America ships have this? . Wondering about the Rotterdam. Not reading very good reviews on this ship but if they do have Lincoln Center Stage might give it more thought.

Has anyone been on a cruise where a Card Players Group was onboard?

I'm wondering how many this would involve and how much the cruise would be impacted with this group. Especially the MDR.

The first screen is as you said. I did check FAQ and perhaps I'm having problems because I have Windows 7. There was not any other information just Error #10 showing.

I am not able to open -- Port Everglades Webcam. The first screen comes up but it says Oops We Seem to Have Experienced Error # 10.

What is wrong and how can I correct this?

I am not very computer savvy so hope there is a quick and simple solution.

Anxious to begin watching sailaways again.

We have often gotten sick on our cruises and come home sick. Takes a long time to get over it. Someone told me to buy Airborne. Has anyone taken that and felt that it helped to avoid becoming ill. Do you begin taking it before the cruise begins? Do not want any Upper Respiratory problems this time. Are their other precautionary meds to take?

Also on Nov. 26 Eurodam cruise. Haven't received notice of the change yet. Am wondering where the ship will dock in St.Thomas - at Havensight or Crown Bay?

In the revised itinerary for Nov. 26 Eurodam sailing now going to St. Thomas will the ship be docking in Crown Bay or at Havensight?

I hope that Holland America has not discontinued printing and putting out the newspapers in the morning. We really enjoyed reading those.

Would each pick up a copy in the Lido after breakfast and go out on loungers by the Lido pool and read them. Do they still print them?

We also stay at this Sleep Inn in Dania Beach FL. The restaurant across the street is called Hemingway Bistro and is wonderful. We have eaten there several times and had a coupon from Sleep Inn. Google it and read about it. I remember we had a most delicious piece of Key Lime Pie for dessert. Will be staying at Sleep Inn in November and will eat at Hemmingway's again.

We have a hard sided Samsonite cosmetic case whose hinge broke so have to replace it. Probably 25 years old. Can not find anything like this which has two small inside pockets on each end for small things and a pocket across the inside back where we put our combs. I checked online and everything is small and won't hold much. Wondering what other travelers are using.
