Who will be the piano bar player March 1 on Ryndam?

Title of study is "Experience the World of the Maya". Several speakers and seminars each day.

I've read that a New York Times Study Group will be on the March 8 sailing of the Ryndam. Has anyone knowledge of this group and how many passengers this could be?

We will be on Zuiderdam Dec. 5 and hope that the pastry chef will bake banket to celebrate Sinterklass. My dad and his family came to US from the Netherlands in 1927 on the Nieu Amsterdam. Grandpa was a baker in the Netherlands and made delicious banket.

We will be on the Zuiderdam the end of November. Will Captain Turner still be on? Do you recall the name of the Hotel Manager? Also, what is the time of the traditional first seating for dinner?

We have stayed at this Sleep Inn several times and did eat at the Mexican restaurant and it is very good. I called them and the Chinese restaurant and they are not open Thanksgiving.

We'll be staying at Sleep Inn in Dania Beach Thanksgiving night prior to cruise and will have car. Would like to know restaurants that will be open that are not too far from Sleep Inn. Do not necessarily need Thanksgiving meal.

We had VC 6141 and now VC 6119. Should we have any concerns about VC 6119. Wonder what the two 'white' areas are across from cabin. Storage area?

Can someone tell me their thoughts on Zuiderdam's cabin VC 6119. Would be same on Westerdam and Oosterdam.

Anyone have opinion on this cabin? Had cabin VD 6147 and changed to VC 6119. I hope a good change.

Has anyone have some advice or comments on 6026 for a partial Panama Canal cruise. How is this forward port location on Zuiderdam?

Hope someone can tell me if these would be good cabins for a Panama Canal cruise on Zuiderdam.

Interested in who will be the officers on the Zuiderdam Nov. 28 sailing. Also the cruise director. Looking forward to the partial Panama Canal cruise. Been several years since we have done this cruise.

We have been on two cruises on the Maasdam and had a lanai cabin and loved them. Quick access to your dedicated loungers on the Promenade deck. We ordered room service lunch a few times and ate out there. Some noise from the washing of the deck early in the morning. Did not bother us as we are early risers heading to the gym at six o'clock.

Will be staying at Sleep Inn in Dania Beach Thanksgiving evening for a cruise on Friday, Nov. 28. Stayed here several times and always ate at the Mexican restaurant across the street. Would eat here again if it is open. But, a Thanksgiving dinner would be nice if there is a restaurant not too far away that will be open. Are there cc members that live in Ft. Lauderdale that have an answer.

Every time we have stayed here we have walked to the Mexican restaurant for supper. Lots cruise people staying at Sleep Inn were there also. Wonder if they will notice less staying at Sleep Inn with the Publix relocated.

Another matter -- will probably stay here Thanksgiving night before our Friday cruise. Will there be a close by restaurant open on Thanksgiving Day?

Thanks for that report. I should keep in mind that the sailing before our March 28 Maasdam cruise did not have very good things to say. Our cruise was great and no problems or complaints.

I went to check roll call for Nov. 28 Zuiderdam sailing this morning and see you have changed your cruise to another sailing and date. Is this the result of what has been said about this ship or ? We keep going back and forth on whether to stay with this booking.

We have had Maasdam lanai cabins twice and love them. Had 336 this past cruise ending April 11. The loungers had a sign on them saying they are for cabin 336. Noticed no smoking.
