  1. There has been many stories of people losing all of their money from travel agents that have gone out of business or bankrupt and have lost all of their money. This just happened to a group of 18 booking out of Florida. Make sure you have a reputable company just saying. They prepaid airfare and cruise and it cost them $15,000. Check the travel agency with the Better Business Bureau

  2. We have been to Mr.Sanchos and love the place. You can purchase tickets on line. 5 dollar deposit p/p and then you pay the balance of $50 pp when you arrive. Beautiful beach, tons of palapas and umbrellas for shade. Unlimited drinks, mixed drinks, beer, water, sodas. The unlimited food menu is pretty good. The coconut shrimp is good also the fish tacos. They have 2 pools with swim-up bars. They wait on you continually whIle making you feel like you made the right decision! We are back to Cozumel again for the 16th time in September. There are tons of taxis to take you there for about $17 from Puerto maya pier. Go to you tube to check out the menu and facilities. Mark and Deb

  3. When we sailed out of Galveston in February, they opened both 12 packs of soda and checked to make sure that there was only soda in the packs. So like previously mentioned, bring a small roll of duct tape in your carry-on to tape the boxes back closed.I promise you,you will find other uses for it throughout your voyage

  4. E@zy Pe@zy, what a great idea I never thought of asking if I can pick something up. But I certainly will next time as we Cruise again in September. These small little gift items saves them from having to pay inflated prices on the ship. Everybody likes beaver nuggets from Buc-ee's am I right

  5. Although I agree with all of the previous posts, we still like to bring a small bag of goodies to our room steward. We will usually bring things like a new toothbrush and paste, disposable razors and shaving cream, eye drops, chapstick, some shoe inserts to help their tired feet and some local goodies. I agree that cash is King but everybody likes a little gift now and then:cool:

  6. We are booked with Capt. Marvin's 8:30am stingray and snorkel. It is $40 and no deposit required. Pay when you arrive. If the ship does not get to dock there will be no charge. But there will be a charge probably if you just don't show up. You do give them a CC to hold your reservation. They have great reviews - check them out - Captainmarvinsdotcom

  7. I agree with the posts recommending Captain Marvin. The best excursion experience ever! I contacted them via their website and booked directly. If the ship couldn’t anchor for tenders, we wouldn’t have been charged. They recommended a trip that gave us enough time to get back and do a bit of shop before getting on the tender. Highly recommend booking with them!

We are booked with Capt. Marvin. Have the early tour so we can do a little Margaritaville after and the "kids" can do some beach time. :D:cool:

Serena - We are arriving in September so the time will be the same. They do not utilize DST so the time is only different in the winter. If you use your Carnival HUB app, it always shows ship time.
