I am trying to get a 6:15 dining time. If I come back late from shore and miss my dining time, will they let me in the 8:00 seating?

Probably not - sorry to say. Someone else will have that table at 8pm. It will be the buffet for you...:eek:

Hey potatohead! You are on our cruise in September! Come on over to the roll call and join in! As far as dining, we always get the 8pm seating, we do not have small children and we like to relax a little after coming back from shore so it works for us. We haven't missed a show we wanted to see and if we get a little hungry before 8 we can always grab a snack somewhere on the ship. (or from room service) :cool:

I really don't think they care where she sleeps. Just remember that her sail and sign card might be on their account, although I believe you can add her on your credit card.

WE WERE ON CONQUEST JANUARY 06 AND OUR KIDS WERE ABLE TO SWIM THERE. IT WASN'T USED VERY MUCH.

Probably because the kids were in it!:rolleyes: Adult use only pool is just that, there are 2 other pools that the kids can use. I realize that the pool is by the pizza and grill areas and the temptation is there for the kids to use it, but when they do, it does keep the adults out.(and grumbling) Parents need to help the crew monitor it's use.

In answer to your docking question - we tendered in 4/06 and docked in 12/06 and my understanding is the Conquest will be docking from now on.

No miniature golf on the Conquest....or rock wall, or skating rink....

we're booked on a cruise late april of 2008. thinking about driving to galveston from calif. what's there to see along the way? how long of a drive is it or should we just fly? are they limits of what and how much liquor over each border?

Depends on where you are leaving from....we left from San Fran and got to see a lot of desert!:p You could do the "northern" route thru AZ and NM and see the petrified forest, painted desert and Grand Canyon....We took 5 days, 8 hrs. max per day (speed limit was 55 then and we had 2 small children, stopped early one day for a "pool day" at the hotel) If you do the I-10 route from LA not as much to see, but San Antonio is a wonderful city and lots to do when you get there! Great time to be traveling! The weather should be gorgeous!

This is the first time I had to tender into a port. What should I expect? Is it chaotic?

We had a 7:45 am excursion that we had no problem making last year!

Kim we are also going on Sept 30 cruise and we are on Cat 8c I am getting a little worried also about rocking. What is your Cabin Number we are 8233 first ever cruise Hubby and I.

We were in 8257 last year and it was great! We had great weather though so I can't compare to a stormy day.;)

Going on Conquest 9-23 and have a couple of questions. What is their non-alcohol beer? Can you bring your own water and pop? Do you get a players club card in the casino and are you able to use your credit card to get more cash in the casino?

Hi there! We are on the 9/23 sailing of Conquest also, join our roll call! We were on last year and I believe they had O'douls, you can bring your own water and soda. 12 packs were allowed, not sure how much more, perhaps it is a per person sort of thing. They do have players cards and I know you can use your sail and sign (which may be linked to your credit card) to get more cash in casino, but there is a percentage charge for it. I think it was 10%.
