Here's a quick and dirty video of our AirBnB on Miller's Point
Soft piano background made me feel like Iain was there.

Oh My - Netscape! Haven't heard that word in years. Thanks for reminding us of what used to be. 😃
Gee, I just put out a Teach Yourself Netscape set out for the trash a couple of days ago. Any IT types remember those type of books popular before the web "was invented"? 😆

And we feel the same family attachment to you - someone I'm never likely to meet. 😉 Gee, I must be off my lurk only meds.

I also assumed it was the risotto. Awful presentation - looks like dog food or barf.

Since you love your long walks, you might have walked over a few man hole covers over the years, just up the road from Milwaukee are the cities of Neena/Menasha and MANY man hole covers are made there.
Reminds me that I was walking in Old San Juan right before Covid hit and saw a manhole cover from somewhere in the midwest - think it was Indiana. 😁

As always, I'm normally a lurker on your threads but always waiting for that first someone to type Lain instead of Iain. Didn't take long for this time. 🤣

Gen Z is growing like a weed and I know it won’t be long now before she’s a teenager and may not want to spend as much of her time with me (and definitely won’t be begging to wear matching outfits anymore).
So does she have a map dress yet?

Hey Charla! I loved your map dress so much that I bought one and it arrived Thursday! Thanks so much…..if not for your posts, I would never have thought that a map dress actually existed!
I have a future vision of Charla and 40 other ladies all in map dresses happily meeting for a sail-away.

Love the red skirt and elegant top worn for chic night.

Iain is much the same as your husband and has never logged onto CC. ... I know so many on CC that lurk
I'm a regular lurker to your Lives and only occasionally post. But what name would Iain choose if he did log on? I'm imagining...
When researching something, ran across a series of posts from a Defying Gravity. Somewhat later in the thread her husband creates an account to chirp in. His name, of course, was I'm Gravity. 😆

Jim, bet you and Iain are glad that you were able to visit those Canadian ports before all of the hurricane damage. Really tough for those folks. And now the Floridians... 😬

Be careful on the Solarium Pool steps - they can be slippery. Hubby took a nasty fall there.

We took a slight break and came back for an SS on the Summit out of San Juan in Jan. 2020 and then, about 2 weeks after we got off the ship, the lockdown began.
Ah, yes, I remember your threads. We were on the Feb 8 SJ Summit cruise. First cruise was a Princess Alaska the previous August and then the SJ one, one of the very last when we were just starting to hear about Covid "way over there in Asia". No third time is a charm right now unless the Summit can manage to dock in Austin so we don't have to fly. So looking forward to sailing by proxy with you.

The solarium steps can be slippery. Hubby took a bad fall when holding on to both railings & spent the next day in bed because of the pain. Just be aware and you'll probably not have a problem.

I'm going through @Jim_Iain travel withdrawal. Can't you augment the thread with an occassional post about your daily walks, Jim? 😁 You always seem to find something interesting to show us.
It's tough being a lurker with nothing to add. 😆

For everyone who has been so supportive and kind, I finally tested negative. Our bags are packed
I'm normally just a lurker, but have been with your posts from the beginning & am REALLY glad it's finally coming to an end. Let us know when you're home safe & sound.
I'm sure many are indebted to you for opening their eyes to what testing positive could mean in the current environment so they can do a better risk eval for their own cruises. Thank you.

LIVE Norwaylady & The Queen is coming to Infinity 6-16.5.24
in Celebrity Cruises

Happy the new trip with the Queen has started. Have followed your Lives for a long time, but almost always just as a lurker.
Have a computer game of European sliding puzzle pics. Always say "that's where norwaylady lives" when Norway shows up. 😁
