  1. Thanks for the detailed list of bourbons. Glad to see there is a decent selection onboard! Definitely miss the older days when they had high end bourbon on board every cruise!
  2. Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll definitely have to try that out. The last one we were on was the Allure and our favorite bar was Champagnes. They had a great selection and great atmosphere, although it's replaced by bionic on here.
  3. Thanks so much for all the great pictures! We will be there next month and can't wait. Our first cruise since Covid hit! Have you noticed any nicer bourbon selections in the bars? I know everyone is having supply chain issues, but was just curious. Thanks!
  4. Enjoy your flat Coke! lol. But seriously, we all know it's all about the bottom line for the cruise lines! Whichever one gives them a better deal will win.
  5. I do know you have to own a minimum of 100 shares. $250 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 14 or more nights. $100 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 6-13 nights. $50 Onboard Credit per Stateroom on Sailings of 5 nights or less. Not sure of any other benefits.
  6. It depends on you and the ship your on. We went on the Allure last and got the Unlimited dining for $175 a person. For us, it was worth it. We loved the restaurants, especially chops. We ate in the MDR one night, and it was horrible. Could've been just a one off or a bad night for them. I agree with try it once and see. You could even just get the chops + 1 dining or the 3 night dining to try it out. Not sure what others opinions are on the MDR on Allure/Symphony/etc.
  7. The only times I've ever seen prices drop significantly was for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Other than that, they've always been up and down a few bucks. Anyone else had better luck or maybe price drops the week of sailing?
  8. Yea, I have no problem taking a test before we get on the ship. But, just a picture of an at home test? I mean, c'mon.
  9. We leave on 10/15 on Symphony. The Labor day sale vs the one yesterday is a little better, but not much. About $3-$5 dollars cheaper per person for Unlimited Dining and Drinks. Also $4 cheaper for Internet. Still at $73 for Deluxe Beverage PP and $220 Unlimited Dining PP. Hoping it goes down more before we leave!
  10. It is completely different for each ship/dates like everyone has said. With that in mind last Black Friday I got Unlimited Dining for $175 pp and deluxe beverage for $49 pp. That was a steal so we grabbed that up as quickly as I could. This was for the Allure and a December cruise. We leave on October 15th on the Symphony and lowest I've seen the DB is $73 pp and UD at $219 pp. A big difference from that sale. Like everyone said, monitor it before then and if you see a cheaper price than normal that seems fair, buy it. If a better price comes along, just cancel and rebuy.
  11. Hope everyone has been doing great! We are booking a cruise on Mardi Gras for this winter and the wife is concerned about the quality of the food in the MDR. We've been on 7 cruises Pre-covid with carnival and always thought the food was great. Although they didn't really have many restaurants that had an additional cost (except 555 Steakhouse). We did take on cruise on RC on Allure of the Seas and the MDR food was horrible. The additional restaurants were delicious though. Any insights on the quality of the MDR, since they have so many additional options? We haven't cruised since Covid hit, so we are looking forward to getting back out there! Thanks as always for everyone's opinions and help! - Joshua
