Your pictures are AMAZING...and scary! I'm worried because I am doing the same tour in two weeks and I'm not sure I can do it! Are you in great shape? (Hint...I am not!)

Just received my flights for my August 14th cruise from Athens. I had the Air Canada "place holders" for the last month or so, but my flight out is on American through Chicago and back is on Delta through Atlanta. I've gone on the sites and booked seats, not great ones, but at least we get to sit next to or near each other...with extra legroom on the way to Athens. Extra charges of about $600 but worth it! Less than a month!! Woot!

I sailed pre-pandemic in a solo lounge on the Breakaway. As I recall, there was a whiteboard in the lounge that would have notes about upcoming events, such as group dinner plans. Also, there was always a bartender in the lounge from 5-6 for "happy hour". This bartender would be in the casino later and would always bring me drinks while playing the slots! 🙂

I jumped ship a couple of years ago...went from having 10 cruises on Carnival (don't remember what that made me loyalty wise) and now I am Platinum on NCL. I frankly like the drink package...being able to get two drinks at a time and no limit on the number I can drink in a day was what sold me! Other than that, they are VERY similar! LOL

I booked Cucina for the wrong night, and when I tried to book for another night, it wouldn't let me. I had planned to cancel the first one when I got on the ship...so maybe they won't let you double up in pre-booking.

I just got notification from AirCanada that my flight to Greece has been changed (by 4 minutes). I'm not cruising for another 72 days and have heard nothing from NCL. The flights are good, leaving Orlando at 11:30AM to Montreal, a four hour layover and then a flight to Athens landing at 10:30AM (I'm flying in the day before and staying at the Grand Hyatt, also booked through NCL). HOWEVER, when I looked on AIrCanada, I saved a whopping $60 by booking through NCL...and I spent more on the hotel, so I just about broke even. So keep that in mind when considering this offer!! On the other hand, NCL better make it right, if anything goes wrong!

Surprisingly, I just got a notice from AirCanada regarding a change in my flight information for my NCL booked flight to Athens Greece on August 12, 2022. Nothing from NCL yet. Looking at the information, I am pleased with the flights, however, going on the website, I only saved about $65 by booking the BOGO. I do want to figure out how to upgrade my seats, but they say I have to work with NCL, so we will se what happens!

I would go later to hopefully avoid the long waits and lines.

I just received an email telling me that they have added two nights to the August 14 itinerary due to a full ship charter on the following sailing! They added Bodrum, Turkey and Iraklion, Greece, with no additional expense (except all of the drinking, dining and gambling!) I have never heard of such a thing and I'm super glad I'm using NCL airfare!
