Which one of those senior Princess executives and leaders on the list made the decision to CARNIVALIZE Princess. Just got off the Discovery (Discovery from he@@) with almost 700 kids. Tripping people, all over the adult only areas (we tried to complain but were told staff was overwhelmed with the number of kids and couldnt do anything) SO MUCH for there being separation between Carnival and Princess. I have been sailing with Princess for decades...this was the first time I nearly lost my MIND over the changes. I get that you are 30BILLION in debt. but come on. Figure out a different model that allows for middle age adults to cruise without the insanity of what is supposed to be Carnival. I have 5 more cruises all over the world booked on princess, including the new SUN. None of them, however, cannot be canceled. For whomever on the list of execs is pushing for "fill the ships 3 and 4 bed in the room no matter what:" PLEASE fire them and get back to the sanity that was Princess. 🙂

All over the news that Princess added the grounds package a week ago. Trying to find it to add to my several upcoming bookings and nowhere to be found online to purchase in the drinks area...I could wait on hold for three hours...or just buy my coffee one at a time and realize their website is the absolute worst on the cruise market. 🙂 Wish they would finally get it together over there. 30B in debt, kids all over the place on their cruises now...just turned into a mess. I really used to LOVE princess.

We are scheduled to board the Caribbean Princess in two days. HOPING all is handled but I know that is a lot to ask in something like this. Is there any update from the ship as far as how bad the outbreak has gotten? Hundreds, thousands, ? I guess we need to stock up on good quality hand sanitizer and just be aware of what we touch. Any update from someone on board would be wonderful THANKS 🙂

We are on board Oct 25.. Ship has issues for sure. Our friends water leak from light fixture, toilets out on deck ten, both Jacuzzi in the front pool jets don't work, steam room showers didn't work . Lots wrong for a ship that was out of use for two years for sure. We were on the ship in 2006 and we loved it. But is now showing its age for sure. I don't think we will be on this one again which is sad because I love the size of the ship this one is just reached its prime. We've talked to many people on the ship so far that I've had problems including air conditioning is not working beds having no mattresses or very little mattresses. Our dinner took 2 hours last night, and 30 minutes almost to get an espresso after dinner and when it arrived it was cold. Ice machine broke on the pool deck today. All in all I think the crew is really trying but what they have to work with in this old ship sometimes you just need to say it's time to let it go. Again nothing against princess itself because I do think the crew tries but I really think everything from embarkation to the end of the first day has shown either inexperienced crew or unprepared crew. It's kind of sad when things like jacuzzis don't work and food is delayed or doesn't get there and leaks are in the rooms because we did still pay full price for this. I know princess won't do anything to compensate us. But it is what it is. We are platinum with princess we have been on many cruises with them. And I really don't like their bigger ships lol We were hoping this would be a nice experience with the smaller ship. Maybe not, maybe it's time to switch cruise lines I don't know.
