  1. I also find this to be a curious observation. For the 2 weeks we were on board, he was all over YC. Several times he could be seen just walking around Deck 20 making conversation with the pax. VERY attentive and hands on guy.
  2. I defer to @skynight’s knowledge. I could’ve sworn when we were platinum there were drinks in the mini fridge but it’s been so long I honestly can’t remember.
  3. Also first responders and educators. 😃
  4. Minibar drinks are charged for platinum unless you are in a suite. In which case, they are included in your fare.
  5. We are booked on an April 2026 sailing out of Galveston so I hope your Nov 2026 isn’t the first one!!
  6. And a wonderful member of the team she is!! Taylan refers to her as “my right hand”.
  7. Incorrect. On Seascape now: Don’t drink so can’t speak to the wine guy.
  8. Realizing that things change, if you do need to vary from the date you booked, you would be well served to contact room service just as soon as you possibly can once you board. Otherwise you new date may very well be fully booked.
  9. When anyone says something (anything) is part of being a responsible cruiser, one has to wonder who is being appointed to determine who is being responsible and who is not. One would not want a supercilious appointee to be the result.
  10. Another post that is beyond rebuttal. Bravo!!
  11. Unpredictable (but normally huge) charges on your next cell phone bill. You return home to an unpleasant surprise. If not in airplane mode, your phone’s cellular will connect with the ship’s cellular signal. Don’t ask me how I came to know this. 😟
  12. Are we hearing you say that Princess (and other cruise lines) have determined that they can improve their bottom line(s) by shifting a great deal of their employer payroll obligations to the passengers through the scheme known as “crew appreciation”? I wonder how long my business would last if reduced what I pay my employees and to make up for this reduction in salaries added to each invoice I send to my customers a line item that I might call “(Name of Business) Employee Appreciation”. By employing this scheme I would be able to significantly reduce my payroll and attempt to make my customers shoulder the shortfall. After all, my guys and gals work really hard and certainly deserve to be individually recognized for their superb customer service BY MY CUSTOMERS with a line item payment. What could possibly go wrong here?
  13. I can’t imagine what I would do with 120 little bottles of booze!
  14. Be careful with generalizations. Noro, for example, is definitely NOT airborne. For that 👇🏻
  15. Room Service add: they will go over with you the different options you have to decide upon to complete your dinner. Such things as wine selection, entree selection, day and time of your UBD, allergies, preparation, etc. They may still be offering Ultimate Balcony Breakfast. Not sure that was brought back at the same time as the UBD. Can’t comment on that one as we’ve never tried it.
