  1. I was on the Joy over July 4th this year. My 15 and 17 year old had a great time. They keep asking when we will do it again. Plenty to do on board keeping them busy.
  2. I know I am in the minority, but me and my family really like the American Diner. The French Dip sandwich I had there was better than the one at the Haven restaurant.
  3. Not sure about a suite, but in regards to the Haven boarding. We went in the terminal and there was a long maze of people to the left. There was a person on the right holding a Haven sign that guided you down a straight away to start the boarding process. All the stations moved pretty quickly, the longest was getting your picture taken and your id cards processed. Then go into the waiting room and short wait to get onboard. They also mentioned to us a few times we could go to the American Diner instead of the Haven restaurant for something to eat.
  4. We did the Haven on our last cruise (July 3, Joy) and i have been instructed by the wife and kids that for any future cruise that the Haven would their first choice.
  5. Went on the Joy to Bermuda in early July. Only had the 1 shot J&J vaccine (no booster). No problems with NCL or Bermuda.
  6. Over July 4th week, we went to John Smith's Bay beach. It was very nice and non-crowded. They have a good restaurant and I believe they rent chairs / umbrellas. It is a pretty long cab ride from the Dockyard. Just make sure you have a way back because there wasn't a lot of cabs waiting around to pick up fares. The extremely nice man at the restaurant called and got us a ride back to the ship.
  7. Cruised to Bermuda in early July. Only had the original J&J (1) shot, no booster. No issues at all.
  8. Just off the Joy last week. American Diner was only open 12-5 everyday. Everybody in my group really like the food.
  9. Unless my eyesight has gotten much worse, it was Coke cans i was seeing. I asked a bartender in the Garden Cafe and he said they only use Pepsi products as a coke can was 2 feet from him. Another bartender heard my conversation and said they are switching to Coke in the next month.
  10. Just off the Joy. The no Vodka didn't bother me too much, but there was another interesting development. My rum and Pepsi's switched to rum and Coke the last 2 days.
