  1. Thanks for this information. My daughter wants to go to the sea life center in Seward, Alaska on a B2B in May. I was hoping we could get off early go to the center and get back on, without too much effort, later. Do I get this card at Guest Services?
  2. Check out what Get your guide has to offer. Book Things To Do, Attractions, and Tours | GetYourGuide
  3. I've seen others mention special pricing recently for Diamond + in the cruise planner.
  4. As of right now one of my cruises has it on sale for 73.99. The other one has never offered it despite the cruise being only 75 days away.
  5. I prefer evening and now knowing that the majority of people, albeit a very small number of contributors, prefer morning I will happily keep on requesting evening. Maybe the results will change as more people vote. Happy to do my part to even it out. I like them to come in while we are at dinner. We always request that and so far they have always done so. I would not want to be displaced during the morning if we were trying to relax or get ready for something. I guess it depends on what you do with your time. I am in and out all day on sea days except during dinner time.
  6. Here are my statements that I have received. Royal cruise fare math is so confusing. The top is my original, then the second when the port fees changed. The third when I paid 1514.63, I had already paid 300 deposit so it shows 1814.63 paid. The fourth one is the mystery. It should have been a $500 companion fare. This is what BOA said I was getting but it is only reduced by 350. Then the 150 that I finally paid on the last one. I definitely see some money coming off but I expected that I would see the 500 as a payment rather than a reduction in two fares. Which does not add up to a round 500 but I guess I will take what I get.

The other suggestion just takes me to the reservation page which does not show me a breakdown since it has been paid in full. I do not see the $500 companion fare from BOA on there at all. This is just a 3-day cruise on the Allure that I added on to the front of a 5-day cruise on the Mariner in February. Since we are flying from Washington State I thought it would be nice to extend the fun.
  8. I talked to Royal today after receiving an email about this cruise. The email said I had a $2014.63 balance. When I looked at my balance on Royals site I saw $150. They told me that the BOA Card had already applied my rewards to the balance. I cannot see that anywhere and never saw it happen. I saw the mystery $350 missing from my balance but they said it was a $500 payment. Does anyone know how I could see this? Does BOA tell you when they apply the rewards? I do not know where to look. It does not show up in my payments. The rep agreed that that email was wrong and I paid the remaining $150 while on the phone.
  9. I paid off or made payments on a couple of cruises and got 4X points for the payments.
  10. Hopefully if you already booked flights you are flying into Vancouver and out of Anchorage. Unless you meant to say SB instead of NB.
  11. I see the bonus points, too. Going to get all my cruise balances paid for with the card before this ends. Thanks for the heads up.
  12. I will keep watching it till the final payment day and make the payment myself if needed. It's only $150 now, so no big deal.
  13. Maybe, I will check and see. But last time I checked the price had gone way up.
  14. I turned in reward points enough for a $500 companion fare on a cruise. I did this back in May. The final payment is due November 26. My balance yesterday was $2014 so I decided to pay $1514 and leave the $500 for Bank of America to pay. They said they would do it close to final payment. Well today my balance reads $150. Does anyone know what happens to your reward money if there is too low of a balance due compared to what they agree to pay towards it?
  15. When I did it on my last cruise they sent the email to my 14 year old daughter instead of me. I, however, did it in person. They quickly fixed it at the Next Cruise.
  16. The Black Friday sale is starting November 9th this year. Hoping for some good deals.
  17. It can happen. I was once traveling on a Royal Caribbean cruise to Canada with my then 13-year-old daughter who was dancing on the ship with the "Stars at Sea" program. We got to the port, and they would not let us on. We had to get a notarized letter from her father allowing us to board. Luckily, we had enough time for him to get it for us and made the cruise. I would not take the chance because you never know. It happened to me.

  19. Keep them coming, We can't wait to try the cream, Lol!!! JK, excited for the Pad Thai.
  20. We will be on the Ovation on the 29th, three more days to go. Looking forward to reading all your reviews.
  21. I have three upcoming cruises and none of them are showing.
  22. Even Royals own site is contradicting. The first part is for all travelers and then the second part is for minors. They don't match up on the answer. For "all passengers" it says if it departs from the US you only need a birth certificate and says nothing about round trip. For "minors" it says if it is not round trip it requires a passport. Accepted Forms of Identification All guests will also need a form of identification to board the ship. Accepted forms of identification vary based on nationality, departure port and disembarkation port. Please note that hospital Birth Certificates (baby feet Birth Certificates), as well as photocopies or images of any required travel documents are not accepted for boarding. Accepted Identification for U.S. Citizens U.S. Passport book that is valid at least 6 months after your cruise ends. A U.S. Passport book is required for sailings that depart from homeports outside of the U.S. For sailings departing from U.S. homeports, an official US state-issued Birth Certificate is also accepted. Guests age 16 and older that present an official US state-issued Birth Certificate will also need to provide a valid Driver’s License or picture ID issued by the government. What forms of ID are required for minors traveling on Royal Caribbean? A For U.S. citizens: Royal Caribbean strongly recommends that all guests travel with a valid passport. For Round Trip cruises from the U.S. that DO NOT include Panama or Colombia, U.S. citizens 17 and under will be able to present either an original, notarized or certified copy of their birth certificate, or a Consular Report of Birth Abroad issues by DOS AND a valid Government Issued ID. Guests age 15 and under are NOT required to have a photo ID, just the birth certificate. Note: Baptismal papers and hospital certificates of birth are not acceptable. Voter registration cards or Social Security cards are not considered proof of citizenship. For all other sailings, all U.S. citizens (17 years and under) will be required to present a valid passport. It is important that the name on your reservation be exactly as it is stated on your passport or other official proof of nationality. If your name has changed since your document was issued (e.g., marriage or divorce), it is required that you update the document with the new name or provide an official supporting document (e.g., a state, county or province issued marriage license, divorce decree or legal name change document) of the name change. All documents must be the original or a notarized copy. Additionally, if you are using an identification (e.g., driver's license) and a citizenship document ( e.g., birth certificate), then BOTH documents must match the name on your reservation. Otherwise, it may result in delay or possible denial of boarding.
  23. This is what my first picture looks like. I then take individual pictures of prescription meds. Most of these pills are for just in case. I line them up in the order of the pill box so I can easily identify them. I don't use the dates because I don't take them daily.
