Booksgate! Yep paper is still the biggest spreader of germs. In the big picture of life accept there are non.not likely to be any in the foreseeable future chill and in the meantime take a Kindle,suitcase of books,join the book club on board but people are just venting an exhaustive subject. You could I suppose take Saga to court for misrepresentation of wording. 😂

Other cruise lines have this rule. If you need it on board you have to book an adapted cabin. However you can tell them you are bringing on a wheelchair for off shore only. It is taken away with your luggage ( which porters do) and held in the hold by the ships crew. It should then be put out on shore days. You should inform your cruise company of your intentions.

Can still be and more room taking out the bookshelves if they can't work this out.

In the past the books were tidied and sorted by the cruise staff. They seem to do more now. If there are to be no more books scrape the library for something else otherwise waste of space.

Sorry outside door decoration has been banned as fire risk.

Heads up because of fire risk front door of cabins can no longer be decorated. However inside yes you can bearing in mind your cabin steward .

Correct no books. Read on a forum that the company providing the books had gone bust.

No worry about that the drivers are informed. We're on a cruise in December out of Southampton in Portsmouth .

Testing has been lifted no matter how long the cruise is. You can check for yourselves under travel updates on the Saga cruising web site

This topic comes up every year and no one knows for sure when they'll be out usually in two halves,which I dislike ,any delays, blah blah.one thing for sure there will be plenty of Canaries trips 😀
