OK. I see Eclipse now for 2025. I don't do short 7 day cruises though ...
Skipping May and September looking at June,July, and August ...

I was looking at 2025 cruises ...

I am looking at booking a Norway cruise. Is it true that Celebrity only has E class ships doing these cruises?

I would take the expertise of a Captain employed by RCCL/X over the "expertise" of people on an online messaging board any day. And common sense as well. 😄
Even the RCL captain who took the ship into a storm with 30 footers and burned out one of the azipods and shortened the cruise? What do you call him? Ex captain ...

I am starting to lean towards Princess.
Does Princess have kids running through the hallways at night? This was happening on Millie during a Christmas cruise. The Millie staffing was also an issue. Instead of booking another cruise, I ended up booking a land vacation for next year as the resorts handily outperformed Millie in both food and service.

I am not a fan of the Hoppenized changes.
No we have not tried the tub. Love the shower though. Have of not had to worry about slipping stepping in or out of the shower.
Very very gray ...

Lots more than she needs.
LOL. But they are sending sand and bottom debris all over the place in a protected wildlife area.
A captain without any common sense? It would not be the first time...

Our Moveup bid was accepted at 45 days out.

Other boats in the area reported that they were in about 43 feet of water...

I wonder how much Celebrity will get fined?
-
It will be interesting to see if Captain Matt is captain next week. That will be a sign of how the investigation is going.
The week before we were to go on an RCL cruise, the captain took the ship into a storm with 30 footers and burned out one of the azipods. Our cruise was fine (after repairs), but there was a new captain on our cruise.

While we like having the option to be on the balcony, in reality we use a balcony less than an hour a day. Never would sit in the sun that long (worked in dermatology).
Where are these balconies without shade? Perhaps I have been lucky as I have yet to run into one.

Dining in Blu is not worth it. The two tops are too close together. I would choose Luminae or specialty myself.

Balcony.
Anyways E class is crowded and loud and shouty.

Tuscan is not getting much love.why?
The food and service are not as good as Murano...
I ate there on Millie for 5 nights and the Branzino was always overcooked...
We could have eaten more nights in Blu, but the 2 tops are rather close in Blu...
-
The pickings are slim due to demand.
The only discount I am seeing is on the Beyond for a 6 day cruise. I don't do E class or cruises shorter than 12 days.

Murano for the food and service...
Tuscan for the views.
So Murano ...

The kids will like it.
It is a one and done for most ...

I would book directly. Rather than through a second party.

Since no one has mentioned the obvious. There is no AC on when the window is open. With no balcony it is not possible for one person to be outside in the elements and another person to be inside in the AC.

One more question. What type of currency would one bring along on a Danube River cruise? We are starting in Giurgiu and ending in Vilshofen. Will Euros work? Do we need to be concerned about getting local currency at the ATMs for each country? I realize that we can use credit cards at most places, but every once in a while you run into some place that just takes cash or it is nice to have for tips. I am probably overthinking this ...

We have an upcoming cruise on the Edge in a Concierge Cabin with a VV.
I have heard they are a love/hate thing and it is our first time to get one.
What do you consider the pros and cons of them?
The con is that they are just an open/close window and not a balcony. You are not outside ...
Zero interest in them when they are charging balcony prices for the downgrade.

Norweigan Fjords. Only E class?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
OK. Has anyone done a Princess Norwegian Fjords cruise? It is looking like HAL vs Princess right now.
