We are booked or that sailing also!! Its a small roll call, but starting to pick up some steam i think!
We're going too! I simply could not pass up the fantastic pricing I found for this cruise so I booked it as a surprise for my amazing DH.
-
how unfortunate for the people impacted by the storms. and the resulting changes to the renovation schedule.
-
I'm very interested to hear all about this cruise. We booked the same cruise for our next cruise.
-
Sounds wonderful I will add this to my list of things to do while in Bonaire
-
As long as you don't run into unforeseen delays you should be fine
-
While I could do without the stop at the iguana farm, we really enjoyed Bernard's tour

Great Review!
Thanks for sharing

We're excited about our upcoming cruise onboard the Harmony. I can't wait to see her. :)

I use those mesh/gauze bath sponges with the rope loop on them. Just attach it to the handle of my suitcase and I can see it a mile away...especially the bright colors.

I use those on my luggage; makes spotting my bags so much easier at the baggage claim.

I would love to see a picture of the view from that location!

How wonderful. Thanks for your review we all have been anxiously waiting for information about this ship.

Anxiously waiting for your review!

We like to cruise January, early February. Weather is great, prices are low and breaks up the winter for us.
That's exactly why we go in Jan/Feb. We need a break from the brutal Midwestern winters

I took some with me along with my tea ball and had no issues finding hot water. we would stop off in the promenade café for water so I could enjoy a nice cup of tea every evening before dinner.
-
I love that festival bread. We spent a week in Runaway Bay a few years ago and had the taxi driver stop at Scotchies and we really enjoyed the food. So that's definitely part of our plan for our day.
-
I grew up in Montego bay. My favourite beach is Doctors Cave. Great swimming, snorkelling, food (try the fish) and shopping outside. Get your driver to stop at Pork Pit or Scotchies to try jerk chicken and or jerk pork.
This is exactly what we plan to do on our upcoming cruise. Thanks for the suggestion

$20 round trip:
Is the roundtrip taxi fare to the beach per person or is it 1-4 passengers
-
Scotchie's is about 20 minutes from the pier. They take credit cards.
Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
Thanks for the information, we may just take a taxi there to grab some lunch!
-
How far is Scothies from the pier?
-
Are either of these near the Falmouth pier? We visitied Scothies when we were travelling from the MoBay airport to the resort we were staying it and I have to agree it was amazing! DH has already requested that we get two things : Sangsters Jamaican rum cream and jerk pork
-
I take a box of the little individual creamers. Never been questioned! I use them in WJ, MDR, and even specialty restaurants. No Problem!
This is exactly what we did on our recent cruise on the Navigator; it worked out perfectly. Enjoy your cruise, she is a beautiful ship

I think you will enjoy the benefits for Elite members on Celebrity. They do a nice breakfast and cocktail hour for members and the onboard coupons are IMO pretty good. 90 min free internet, and some FREE laundry. Enjoy your cruise.

OK, I'm confused because I had heard that these taxes only applied to Texas residents or for non-residents staying in Texas for more than 24 hours. I understood that everyone else was exempt. Guess I need to see if I can find the Texas statute that provides more details.
We were charged the tax last week when we disembarked the Navigator. We live in Kansas and were not staying over night in Texas. The sales person onboard gave DH a 10% discount on his liquor purchase to offset the tax.

We always get a drink BEFORE heading to the dining room....it takes too long to get a drink in there anyway!
That's what we did last week. It worked out perfectly for us.
