I was also on the Navigator for this sailing. There were actually two people that were taken off the ship during the emergency stop in Cozumel. There was also another passenger that was taken off the ship when we returned during the scheduled stop in Cozumel later int he seek. When we returned to Galveston yesterday there was another person who was evacuated before everyone else was allowed to leave the ship.
Hope everyone is OK.
We had a fantastic time on our cruise last week. did you and your wife attend any of the ballroom dance clases? I drug my DH there and we learned how to do the Cha Cha ( well sort of anyway) and we asked someone to take photos of us stumbling around and I just thought it may have been you as the gentleman resembled the face in your avatar photo.
Yes, I do hope that everything wad okay with the passengers that left the ship.

I believe the Texas Tenors last show on NoS was last week. They go back on the road.
Oh well I'm sure we will be pleased with the entertainment. Although I really was looking forward to those Texas Tenors!

"Moving on, we were please that The Texas Tenors got on the ship in Belize. They were, by far, the best show. My grade; 10"
We were on the Navigator last February and the Texas Tenors got on the ship in Belize. They were awesome! I am back on the Navigator in 19 days..... hope they hop back on again
Sailing on Sunday hopefully we will have the Texas Tenors on our cruise we have heard great things about them.

Thanks for the quick and to the point reply , I've tendered before , don't really like or dislike , but if that's the highlight then maybe when no one is looking I will try the flowrider and enjoy the ship

We will be on the same cruise and we are staying on the ship. Maybe we will see you at the Flowrider :D

I love creme brulee too and I thought it was very good on RCI. I especially like the burnt crust on top; its my favorite part!

They would be issued to balcony smokers and booze smugglers! :D;)
Sorry, Bob - couldn't resist......
Very Funny! I love it!

DH absolutely loves country music, the new stuff is okay but he really gets into clasic country stuff. Merle Haggard, Waylon, Glen Campbell etc... So it sounds like he will be happy. I on the other hand, like variety in my musical enjoyment I like most genres well maybe not rap . So if the Navigator has variety then we both will be pleased.

We are getting even more excited about our upcoming cruise I'm especially happy to hear there's good entertainment in the Schooner bar. We will be spending lots of time there. :D

We sailed on the Navigator several years ago out of Miami and are very excited to see all of the upgrades. While I do read the reviews posted, I try not to let them influence my decision. I go with an open mind and positive and try to have the best time ever!

getting close.

I know, the cruise will be here before you know it. And we are so ready for it. I've got to reserve our specialty dining times. Everything else is pretty much done; precruise hotel booked, parking reserved. A few days before the cruise I will start packing and we'll be on our way down to Galveston.
-
Usually we get off at all ports; however this time we are looking for some rest and relaxation so we havent planned much for our upcoming cruise. We will stay on board while the ship is in Belize.
-
Those itineraries sound great! I do hope RCI will follow suit on this.

Great review thanks for sharing

As with most procedural changes, there are many hiccups, hopefully we won't encounter these issues when we board the Navigator in August.

We always take ours in our carryon and have a small corkscrew that stays in DH's toiletry bag so we don't leave home without it.

We will be driving to Galveston for our next cruise. We enjoy the nice relaxing drive down. It gives us time to talk, laugh and sing oldies . We both have very busy careers so we look forward to some relaxing time.
On the ride home, we recount the fun times we shared during the cruise.

If you want to have the wine with dinner, just open the bottle in your room, pour a glass and take it to dinner with you. No corkage fee this way.
Enjoy your cruise.
Craig
That's what we do ; no corkage fee for us .

Give RCCL a try, I think you will enjoy it. While there are some differences between the two I think they are probably more alike that they are different. The exception of course is the Oasis of the Seas. It is amazing what a wonderful ship for you to experience RCCL on, but I will caution you, once you've experienced the Oasis you will be spoiled !

We have eaten both lunch and dinner at Giovanni's. We actually somewhat prefer lunch. We like not being so full of an evening. Also, we consider it our sea day excursion! :)
I like that idea, I think I will add that to our list of must dos for our upcoming cruise.

Thanks for sharing this information. It will be helpful next month.

Just reading that menu makes my mouth water. We will be dining there once maybe twice during our next cruise.

Thanks for posting your review. sounds like you had a great cruise. Happy Anniversary!

On the Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion site it only states that one must sign a waiver before going to the Water Caye Beach Break.
DW and I are just 4 weeks from the Navigator sailing and yes we plan on going to Water Caye. I will post about everything concerning this excursion!
We are also considering this excursion, looking forward to reading about your experience.
