  1. We were on Jan 29th sailing and returned to Colon at about 6 or 6:30pm from old lock transit excursion...No problem returning on board, just keep walking and there were 3 entrances to re-board, easy peasy...
  2. Sailing and seeing Alaska with Royal Princess - no problems, Alaska was great. Now that I am able to compare Royal Princess to Ruby Princess (sailing partial transit Panama canal), my first negative opinion would go to entertainment team on Royal. I did not expect to see such a huge difference. Ruby was much, much better. But two production shows are still nay...rest are awesome. Food quality is pretty much the same between two ships in MDR, but buffett is smaller on Ruby. Did not experience other significant differences.
  3. Ruby's night entertainment was amazing thanks to Gravity band and everyone from ship's entertainment leadership!!! Gravity has tried and satisfied variety of music choices and tastes. Some people like disco, some like line dancing or slow. So different from our experience on Royal Princess, where only "line dancing" music was offered and favored by a small group of people. Piano, violines, steel pan, acoustic guitar...very, very good. But, honestly, not a fan of production shows. Have seen it on Royal, and, nope...not for us.
  4. For the same reason, I have decided to stay a little farther away, in Plantation. It was around $160 (probably plus taxes), but I had a little bit of Hyatt points and it was enough to cover an overnight stay.
  5. It is exactly how I have just received my refund to CC, excursion #2 was paid with CC and canceled. Still have a separate and active excursion #1, a standalone purchase with OBC+CC.
  6. Here is an update to my own cancelation and chat with princess rep. I just noticed a refund on my CC, 2 days after talking to someone over the Live Chat. Canceled on Jan. 6th, initiated a chat on Jan. 22nd, refund is showing up on Jan. 24th.
  7. I've canceled on Jan 6th, sailing next Monday 29th, paid by CC...still waiting...Connected by chat with customer service yesterday, the guy has requested a CC refund on my account....asked to be patient with processing the refund....We'll see.
  8. May I ask what are the tipping ethics? Cash after the massage? Adding to the bill? Thank you.
  9. As a matter of fact, first time ever, I've decided to chat today regarding my refund for canceled shore excursion (sailing next week). It has been more than 2 weeks, and I've heard nada from Princess and no refund. I started at about 9:45am, waited online for about 20 minutes and saw queue going down from 75 people in front of me down to 0. I had to confirm after 10 minutes that I am still waiting. It took me about 25 minutes online chatting with a rep and at the end he said that he is issuing a refund to my CC. He actually asked me how much they owe me since he had no visibility to excursions. I'll believe it when I see my money. But that is my experience today. First and hopefully last.
  10. I have no problems logging in with a login ID and password, it works right away, BUT, session expires very quickly and have to log in again.
  11. I paid for excursions in 2 sets. First one for 1 excursion paid with OBC and CC. Second one is with CC only and I have canceled one of the excursion from this second set. What do you think?
  12. Oh boy...I just canceled one of our excursions maybe 4-5 days ago...It was paid by CC. Are you saying that I need to contact Princess to get my refund? Still nothing on my CC.
  13. And I usually open both Uber and Lyft apps and compare the cost between two. Depending on location and time of the day, cost varies, and i usually pick whatever costs less 😁
