When completing a price drop form on the Carnival website and requesting onboard credit for the difference in original and new pricing, could I possibly lose my cabin assignment and onboard credit from the original booking? No offense to anyone, but please only post if you've had experience in requesting price drops. Thanks!

Recently did mine over the phone, twice. Same room and $900 OBC

This. These cruise lines know they cannot afford to risk another PR disaster if covid-19 spreads out of control on a sailing when they restart. They won't be restarting until they have the ability to test people and monitor people during the voyage.

They will go bankrupt before a vaccine is made. They cannot wait...so you really think cruise ships, casinos, and movie theaters are not going to open ASAP?

Disney is one of those scenarios where I think social distancing will be next to impossible.  Any theme parks for that matter, as groups of people freely wander those venues.  Some areas may be able to distance, for instance the lines to ride, but the parks in general …. I can't see it happening.

they can limit capacity for the entire park and then by sections of the park. Allow 10,000 in and then assign a section and rotate that number from section to section.

I am not seeing great pricing at all. Just tried to book our October cruise and the price is now over $500 more than it was about 3 weeks ago. So frustrating. I didn't book it then because, HELLO- Pandemic! NOw the price has shot up so much I will not book it out of sheer principle. Checking other cruise options now for our kids October Fall break from school. May opt for a land trip instead.

Demand is high, a lot of canceled cruisers are rebooking and are getting great perks.

Have not been on Panorama, but on Vista the doors were not magnetic. Some walls, yes, but not the doors. We used those removable, damage-free hooks hooks, and everything either had a hole or string to hang from the hooks. Took less than 30 seconds to remove all of them at end of cruise.

    Ok, thank you

I may be misinterpreting the question, but assuming you are checking for price drops.  I check online for prices to retreat on my July cruise, but I would think that if a section is sold out, there is no reason for price to drop....one thing you CAN do is cheeck the website daily to see if maybe an upgradd cabin drops in price enough to make changing rooms worth it....

This makes sense, no reason for prices to drop for a sold out section. Price drop on an upgrade is more likely.
