I sure hope so !! After spending all them $$$$ to "graduate" to Elite , it would be terrible if Celebrity's Management Team decided to remove that " perk " ( ?? ). I would worry more about the size of the shrimps and whether they still put 4 into each shrimp cocktail ( unless the Waiter slips in one extra, guaranteeing a larger tip ).

Why not ?? They would have been " Finger Lickin' Good " . LOL-- Look at what Colonel Sanders started !!

LOL--- Absolutely not---- Unless: - You are 84 yrs old and were seen receiving a big kiss from a beautiful 32 yr old wearing her new pre-loved Rolex. You know, the one you had no intention of buying until, etc. etc. - You " enjoyed " too much wine at dinner and were " Dancing in the Moonlight " ( The Mavericks Band ) at 3 am. - You were playing blackjack and splitting Kings, causing the " table " to lose. Try telling the " losers " that you had a " feeling ". - You were complaining at GR because your Waiter forgot your 3rd shrimp cocktail and you were removing the gratuities. - You were tasting the food at the buffet ----- No forget that one--- Too many do it, so you won't " stand out " for that one. Just go and enjoy your cruise.

If the Travel Agents are unable to arrange it, as soon as you board go to the Main Dining Room ( MDR ) and request that you sit together. I'm sure it can be arranged --- A little " Thank You " ( $$ ) might ( will ) speed up the process. Perhaps you are not aware that there is also an option of Anytime Dining ( dine at your preferred time ). If it's not already full, you can make a reservation for every night of the cruise prior to boarding, on the Cruise Planner site or have your TA book it. Either way, it can be arranged--- Disclaimer ------As we have not cruised since Covid , perhaps things have changed a bit.

About the pre-loved Rolex watches being sold on board: The prices of the watches I saw were around $ 6500US . I "assumed" ( but did not ask a Salesperson ) that they were not changed in any way and have " original " Rolex parts. I thought that because they were being sold in International Waters, that the " Authorized Rolex Dealer " did not apply. It appears that I'm wrong on both counts and very happy I did not buy one for ---( you know who ).

LOL--- Unless the guy /gal in the store tells ya " It's real --- would I lie to you "? Oh Yea ?---I try telling that to " you know who " about my maroon sport's jacket,-- plaid, flair leg pants,-- 4" wide ties , ---- Never works !!! I've often told the story about the old ''f--t " buying a " pre-loved '' Rolex for the 32 yr old beautiful blond he was with. Ya shoulda seen the kiss she gave him -- and, in front of other people. Trust me, I don't think he was thinking about " Servicing " ( the watch ) at that time. LOL---I also don't think she was an " Authorized " travelling companion.

LOL-- Why else would anyone spend that kind of money on a bag ? The odds are you will never sell it because the value will keep going up----- ( until you try to sell it ?? ). Let's say the exact bag had a " designer " name on it that was not recognizable ( not promoted or marketed ), wouldn't it still be as good ? ( I try to explain that to " you know who " --- but, not a chance ) !! LOL-- And, about the Rolex watches they sell on the Islands---- They are " real " . The Salesman told me and offered me a " special price " because he remembered me from a previous cruise . ( I must have a twin brother because we were never there before ). Oh well, It's all part of the " fun " of cruising.

Exactly what we were told several times by Maitre'ds , Servers , and confirmed by a Hotel Manager. If they now add 18% Gratuity --- Part of that will go to the Server . IMO---No additional gratuity is necessary for the Server. Here's what I suggest----If the price becomes too high--- Give your cabin number to the Maitre'd of the Specialty restaurant and tell him/her to call you if they have an opening they want to fill and can offer a discount. Also, quite often in the past , as there is competition between restaurants and " target numbers " to be met,--- after dining in a Specialty restaurant we were asked if we would like to come back another time and were offered a very good discount.

And, the same person goes to the : " Look younger in 90 minutes seminar--- in the Spa ( $ 357 )" , " Shape up in 7 days with Julio ---in the gym ( $284 )", " Refresh your dancing skills with Ricardo -- ( $ 199 ), " The art of napkin folding with Maria -- free ( Gratuities accepted )". But, does not participate in the " Newlywed Game " , also known as " How to look like a ***** in 10 easy minutes " ( I think I been on toooo many cruises ) !!

" Who ever thought a lounge chair made from stone and tile would be comfortable "? The Guy that sold them !!! That reminds me of the time I purchased a new car-- The Salesman told me --- " I don't know how the Sales Manager approved your " final " offer-- That was some deal you got -- I never seen nothing like that before " !!

Agree-- Triple Crown winner here--- since, since --- Can't remember when --- Mind you, Is buying a Lottery ticket from time to time ( because I had a " feeling " ) considered Gambling or Investing without " Due Diligence " ??

1---" Busy at another section "---- Sure---The " other section" was probably back in his cabin having a snooze for 2 hrs. 2----I do not believe for one minute that they would" take it from their paycheck " if you post a poor survey. I assume " action " would be taken if an employee continuously receives poor ratings--- as would happen in any other Company. Bottom line--- Be " smart "--- Give her the more expensive wine--- and, don't mess with a nice lady from Mississauga.

" sheer laziness " -- You got it. To wait over 2 hrs for your main course ---- totally unacceptable. "Maître D was nowhere to be seen "--- Simple---He/she didn't want to " face the music " , so, stayed out of sight. While we have not cruised since Covid , and are non-drinkers : As you appear to be a " regular " Celebrity cruiser , did they do anything for you since the food service and your preferred wine(s) were unavailable ?

We have met many Captains -- Every one of them were extremely friendly--- They all make the usual " small talk " ( where are you from, how many cruises with Celebrity , etc etc ). Doesn't matter whoever the Captain is on any cruise we take. LOL---( I think ( ?? ) I mentioned that a few times on CC in the past ).

That's right --- And, If you stay the whole night you get 30 % off.

Thank goodness for that --- except the time 14 yrs ago when --- Ya shoulda been there -- Or, was that you ??

Yup-- I told " you know who " . All I did was --Smiled--- Daydreamed --- and, came back down to earth. C'est la vie ( That's life )

Good Luck !! I tried that on many cruises ---- with no luck. On every cruise , on day 1 the casino staff ( ?? ) spreads a rumor that on the previous cruise " someone " hit the jackpot for $ 20,000--- ( always the same amount ). So----$100 later ( I told " you know who " it was only $ 20 ) --- there I am sitting on my balcony. Next cruise I'm gonna try a new " system " that I heard about on CC ---- Split Kings !! ( Ya learn lot's of " stuff " on CC--- especially when 99.9 % of CCers have a different opinion that you ).

Is that why there is no trouble for y'all ( love that expression ) getting a front row seat at the Art Auction , the theater , the Golf Putting Tournament , Zumba lessons with Julio or --- How to look 30 yrs younger in 90 minutes---- ( for $357 ) ?

( I always, oops, unless you are " correcting " me , enjoy reading your posts ). What you are referring to above is probably not happening. Ya wanna talk about " disgusting"---- How about slobs at the buffet, how about men/women who " forget " to wash their hands or flush the toilet in the public washrooms , etc, etc. What the Cruise Lines should do is to put up a sign reading: " Please flush--If bell rings YOU win a prize ". ( Of course, there is no bell--- but it will work ).
