I created a new account in the app to submit the shareholder information for an upcoming Princess Cruise. After signing up and verifying through my brokerage and Plaid (which I've used successfully in the past) I was unable to get the perk request button to change from grey. I logged out of the app and logged back in and was finally able to request the credit. Just wanted to make a note of that workaround here, in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

How easy was it to find cabs to come back to the ship in Belfast? We were almost stranded in France and Italy and I don’t want to repeat that stress.

Check your boarding passes about stateroom access times... We are booked on an Ocean Suite on the Magic in about 2 weeks. The boarding pass I printed this morning specifies that cabin access for ALL passengers will be after 1:30pm (Including Diamond, Platinum). I called and confirmed that restriction with Carnival and was told it was ship specific and also affected passengers who had paid for Faster to the Fun early access. No guaranteed access until after 1:30pm. I'm not looking forward to schlepping my carry on around, but it is what it is.

I wanted to also thank janniebabe for the Live Chat link. None of the other suggestions worked on my computer or phone, but I was able to access Live Chat through the link and have my question answered immediately. Thank you to the group for this discussion!

This is very helpful information, thanks. I've been trying to book a cruise for summer of 2023 and the Princess reservation department could see that the cruise was on 'hold' for some sort of backend work but wasn't sure why. Off to research the Regal princess and how the cabin categories compare to the Emerald!

This thread has been very helpful--we are sailing on the Ruby to Alaska in mid-June. Since we've not cruised with Princess before, can anyone give me an idea of the a la carte photograph pricing for photographs purchased on board? I'm trying to decide whether the $25 pp/per day upgrade from the Plus package is worth the price (we're not drinkers).
