Coastal kitchen, Access
Kbonner replied to peacebeautytruth's topic in Royal Caribbean International
That is correct. Here on SY they speak effective Jan24, the JS cabins will be separated into regular JS and so called SkyJS (a quick price check shows a difference between reg JS and Sky JS of 2000$) That means regular JS have no whatsoever access to CK anymore , only the pricey SkyJSs -

W/r to JS: if your cruise is a Master casino cruise, they always have priority over JS. Currently 60 Masters on board. Bye bye JS customers. -

Currently on SY. Coming Sunday starts the TA. Pins excluded from CK, lounge and suite/Pin sun deck. 30 highest Pins are allowed access to CK to include their possible non status companions in same cabin. Breakfast for Pins in Chops. No more 3 dinner/CK. Also it is confirmed that from the Pin count, Pins in suites are not subtracted, all casino masters have full access to CK and lounge as do the Junior suites. So all in all the priority is as follows: 1. suite guests unrestricted 2. Masters with no C&A status unrestricted 3. Junior suites unrestricted 4. Pins when below the threshold of approximately 100, restricted. Substituition for Pins: Dazzles lounge -

Actually its Royal that removes the tips - from the employees. The cabin attendant i.e. supposed to get 3.55$/pp/day. Royal though removes .50$ from their guest gratuities for-------what?

Amsterdam bans cruise ships
Kbonner replied to balletgemma17's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You may fly into Frankfurt, take an ICE train, overnight anywhere between Frankfurt and Cologne. Next morning you hop into the Cologne-Amsterdam ICE train, arriving 11ish am. We did the train at the morning of departure from Cologne to Amsterdam (ca 55€pp). So you may avoid Amsterdam prices and sightsee Cologne which is more than worth it. You can also take a ICE train from Frankfurt airport to Amsterdam avoiding Schiphol -

Tell the Mafiosi longshoremen that inflation hurts you as well as them. Hand him 2 dollars for 2 pieces -
Mafia style baggaging in Miami RCI terminal?

So Mafia longshoremen after all in RCI`s Miami terminal, arrival level. A stark contrast between outside (Mafia-porter longshoremen) and inside terminal helpful staff -

Mafia style baggaging in Miami RCI terminal?
Kbonner replied to Kbonner's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Very funny. After he mobbed us we wanted to put them on the conveyor belt by ourselves. Remember, the luggage was put right next to the running conveyor belt by the tipped bus porter. The aggressive union-Mafiosi jumped in between the belt and the luggage and denied us putting the stuff on the belt. He also forbid his "low ranked" helper to do so. And again he threatened us to "leave and forget" the luggage. So he forced us to additionally tipping him exclusively. After additional tipping, some of the group were allowed to put the luggage on the conveyor belt themselves or in our case ordered the "helper" with a hand signal to load the luggage from 6 ft to the running belt. -

Mafia style baggaging in Miami RCI terminal?
Kbonner posted a topic in Royal Caribbean International
Currently on TA Symphony. We boarded the SY March 9th in Miami. Our hotel shuttle service brought us directly to the luggage belt in the arrival area. The shuttle employee unloaded all baggage and put it right in front of the running conveyor belt. After tipping our handler, another baggage "dispatcher", white helmet, probably supervisor (unionist?), told us to tip him or the luggage will not be loaded . A total of 4 couples' luggage was put aside and only a forced tipping made him move to order a low rank baggage handler to lay the luggage onto the conveyor belt. He did this repeatedly with 3 follow-on shuttle buses. Is this the norm today with RCI Miami terminal? If RCI only would read this thread - I took crystal clear photos of the mafia-style "supervisor baggage dispatcher" and the put hostage luggage for their convenience. -
Currently on Symphony TA: 5 CK dinner bookings for Pins, same for JS (which we are in), no breakfast allowed (in Chops for Pins), although CK is empty in the morning. Evening CK plenty of empty tables, suite lounge almost empty each night. How boring for the lonely suite guest

Housekeeping moving to once a day?
Kbonner replied to Donsyb's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Right - may I assume that suite guests generally make more dirt than the other cabin classes? -
Black Sea. Well Royal does not want you to sleep on the pool deck during a Black Sea voyage. Too many stray mines drifting down even to Turkey and Romania

Don't want to stray away. Is it the rumor that starting 2023 passengers have to bring their own food for day1?😎 -
On odyssey now. Some observations
Kbonner replied to Scotico's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Cost saving toilet paper. Right. Backfires to RCI, I have to take now a 4-fold single paper. So actually quadrubles the toilet paper price for RCI🤣 -
