I wanted to tell you about my gluten free experience on the seashore. I do not have celiac disease but have to avoid folic acid which is in enriched flour in the USA. I was hoping MSC didn’t use enriched flour. I asked the chef about it and he said yes our pizza crust is made with enriched flour but would a gluten free crust be ok for you? He made me the gluten free pizza today and it is absolutely delicious. I continue to be blown away by the service in MSC yacht club.

When we were in the haven we also had the 2 bedroom and used it exactly the same way. We are currently on the msc seashore in the yacht club and am very impressed. I love the ship. There is music everywhere! The food in the YC restaurant has been outstanding. Our butler and junior butler cant do enough for us. This is day 3 and unless something drastically changes we will be YC in the future.

When coming back from breakfast I saw them and mentioned I need more. They said we already took care of it after we saw you had drank it. I went in the cabin and there was a plate full of English tea bags on the counter.

We are switching for the same reasons. The haven prices have gotten insane. We were booked in the haven for our anniversary next year and got a cheaper 10 day cruise on the Explora ll.

Oh great! we fly through there Saturday on the way to Orlando! Yes Southwest.

Fabulous looking Bloody. I drank way too many of them last Sunday when our local VFW has them for 1.50. However…no bacon….

I guess we’ll soon find out! We fly into Orlando this Saturday for an MSC cruise and back home on 5/12.

I will.I’ll try to remember to come back to this thread! Have a wonderful cruise. We are very excited to try MSC Yacht club. We have been in the NCL Haven in the past and from all I’ve read this will be much better.

I read that too with interest since I’ll be on that ship on 5/5. It wasn’t just one person having issues with him. For a very short thread there were 3 people who were unhappy with him. That makes me think there is probably something to it and I was happy to get the heads up. We’ll soon find out!

I’m sorry that happened to you. I too would be fuming. Thanks for the heads up. We will be on the seashore on 5/5.If I have to interact with him and question what he tells me I will ask for the YC director immediately and if necessary the hotel director. I’m also happy about the heads up for Deck 20! I too Prefer lighter drinks.

That’s good news! We are getting on the MSC seashore in the yacht club in 16 days. You inspire me with all of your wine choices. We are usually merlot, cab or a red blend. Boring. We are going to let our server choose a new wine for us at each meal.I can’t wait. Thanks again for a great review. We will also be leaving a cat at home but he will be visiting at our son’s house where he is king.

I agree. The best meals we had were in LaCucina on the Epic. It was so good we went back a 2nd time using our latitudes reward meal. The steak was wonderful and the lasagna was some of the best I’ve eaten. In the past this was our least favorite restaurant but not anymore.

Not that I am a pot stirrer…. But we are trying another cruise line in May and this was a breakfast picture posted this morning!

We bid into the haven on our last TA on the Epic. They only had the sad potatoes in the Haven restaurant so we ate breakfast in the main dining room. One day the Maitre d’ came over and said we are happy to have you eat with us but can I ask why aren’t you eating in the Haven? I held up the round of hash browns.That may have been one of the last cruises that the hash browns were available.

I agree. The atrium on the Epic is so small. The only time I sat down there was to fall asleep during a movie. We usually sat above and looked down but couldn’t join in the activities.

The food looks delicious. I think we were at every Karaoke.Mainly such good singers….then we had “Screaming Rick”.
