  1. Fantastic photos Fairport, this totally represents what you can see on the skyline tour. We did it through Harbour Air. I guess it depends on booking numbers, see that this tour was on a turbo Otter, we were on a Beaver with the old radial engine. Both Canadian classic Bush planes. As an added bonus we saw a pod of Orcas near Pt.Atkinson, 4th photo, but that is rare. Highly recommend tour.
  2. Yes and yes. Bookedour discount first night a few days ago for August, and according to menu its still available.
  3. Crispy Frog Legs???? Don't see them
  4. Ha, when I heard Chip the butler i thought you were talking about using casino chips to tip. In an alcohol induced evening i thought it was a good idea to take all my cash and use it in the casino. Well at the end and $33 up, which i consider a win, I didn't cash out. I tried to tip with chips and saw a very disappointed face. Apparently staff has a lot of explaining to do if they want to cash in chips, as they could be stolen from the room. It was totally a no problem, I was able to cash out and tip in cash. Wont make that mistake again. Bless our hard working crew, and already have cash ready for our next cruise, won't take it to the casino
  5. I've booked concierge for 4 people in the past . Its tight but works, guess it may depend on the ship, but a yes for solstice class.
  6. Forgot about the mini bar. My boys were good about not touching that, but there are also a couple of expensive bottles of water on a shelf above the mini bar. One kid used a bottle to brush his teeth, he was mot aware he could use the tap water, or the cost of the water
  7. Yes definitely book your spa before lunch. We have been through quite a few times, and seems that 1 to 4pm is quite common. Get on deck and enjoy. Depending on what month, keep an eye out for small sport fishing boats clustered around points, reefs, islands. Often Orcas will be close by. On a sunny day it is one of my favorite segments, but sad as its the last day
  8. We rarely buy the photos, but the ones we have do bring back wonderful memories. Though my favorite ship photo was taken by a fellow passenger who walked up to us and asked if we wanted him to take it. Was just thinking about this the other day, and hopefully it will never fly again. On an Alaska cruise I was walking out to the pool deck where a ships photographer had his set up. Here was a burly (judging by accent) eastern European guy dressed as a lumberjack. He was with a pair of Asian ladies dressed in fur lined parkas. He has pointing at them and loudly announcing Eskimos Eskimos. Was embarrassing.
  9. The first time I ever had escargot it had a mushroom cap on top. I ate the cap, could not believe how delicious it was, then my table mates pointed out the slug was still in there. Stabbed it, looked at it, and finally ate it. Been hooked ever since.
  10. I had booked a cruise with my mother and due to covid it was lift and shifted twice. During that time she passed away. Perhaps because of the circumstances it was processed very quickly, and I was able to transfer it to my son. Also would like to point out how wonderful Celebrity was in dealing with this situation. Absolutely first class.
  11. We were on the Eclipse in October 2019 and was able to catch some live NFL both at the casino bar and our room TV, so I would say yes.
