And probably Wonder of the Seas starting March.Hopefully. 😉 Curiously, when you looked up availability for booking on Wonder and expanding the cabin type info, Sky class cabins were labeled as such. However none of the Star Class rooms were labeled as Star Class as one of the features. I’m pretty sure they would be due to the price, but who knows. If for some strange reason they are not, I will definitely be cancelling my booking.

Uh oh, busted I'm a cruisiholic. Lol I currently have 19 booked after this one through 10/2022. Many are weekend cruises though, an advantage of living in Florida. I'm very blessed to be able to travel and have gone a little crazy after travel being restricted for so long.
Agreed! I’m right there with you! I’ve got 15 booked through 2022 and like you a lot of 3 day weekenders. That way I only have to use one vacation day a cruise! Also like yourself, its nice to be so close to all the ports, being in Central Florida, its no more than 3.5 hours to any of the ports! -

In all fairness that post title (wording) would not have had the same meaning, which is why I never clicked on it. 😉

I had the same problem. I called and they said that they allowed checkin too soon. I think that it’s because they moved final payment closer for cruises through December. And we had already checked in.
That makes sense. Hopefully that is all it is then. I wonder if we will have to re-check in 30 days out, or whenever they make it available again?

Has anyone else had an issue accessing your check-ins today? I haven’t been able to access three of my cruises today (keep checking back for earlier check-in times). Its not a cache issue as this happens on multiple browsers/devices/private browser windows, and the app. Also only 3 of my 5 cruises in the next 90 days are unavailable, and have been all day. The other two I can access just fine. The last time this happened, all those cruises were cancelled, so I am hoping that is not the case. The three I cannot access are Mariner on 12/04 and 12/09/21, and Freedom on 11/19/21.
Just wondering if anyone else noticed this on their sailings.

I look at it this way, if the price is less than three specialty dinners, I feel it is a good value. I purchased it for my next six three-night cruises between October and January. I think the price before using OBC from the WOW Sale, was $78 each sailing. I feel that is an exceptional value for the package.

The cruise planner format only has to do with the ship. Some ships have the new version, some don't. No bearing on whether or not a cruise will sail.
Unfortunately RC's technology/IT department is kind of a mess. These kind of inconsistencies are the norm for them, and have been for a while.

Just upgraded to an Owners Suite on Mariner of the Seas. This is our first time being in anything more than a Junior Suite. What can we expect? Thanks
Which sailing and how did you get the upgrade, RoyalUp? Also what was your winning bid if you don't mind me asking (if RoyalUp was used). I have a B2B in a JS on Mariner in December and I have been waiting for RoyalUp to become available, to hopefully win a bid as well. Thank you in advance.

All the more reason why I always accepted a refund when a cruise was cancelled, FCCs have been a pain from what I have read, not worth the extra 25% for all the hassle, at least for me. But I can see the appeal for the extra 25%, especially when the cruise is 100% paid.

Go to royalcaribbean.com, login on their site and open the check information there and look at the Set Sail passes there and see if they each have their own name. If they are correct, then the app is at fault. So, log out of the app, then close it (not minimize), and the re-open, login again and check. If both still have the same name, log out of the app, delete the app, and then reinstall, log in and check again.
If they are the same name on both the app and on RC.com, then check the latest booking invoice and make sure there are two names (I am pretty sure you have already done that though). Then contact RC at their 1-800 number and press the option with check in issues. They may have to escalate it to their IT department.

Highly subjective of course. For me I do not enjoy seafood, so I feel that when I can get the day pass for $46.99, then it is worth it, for the dining there and the private retreat. However if you love seafood and lobster, then I think the higher prices are worth it. With that said, I would feel $75 pp is a good value for what you get. Anything over $100 is overpriced I feel.

It has been fun watching your experience. Glad you are having a great time! Can't wait for my B2B (5+5) in December on Mariner! Quick question about the Unlimited Dining Plan and Playmakers. Are you able to use the $20 credit you are allotted, multiple times in one day? Meaning, is it $20 for Playmakers per day total, or is it $20 each time you go to Playmakers, each different time throughout the day, for example 2-3 times a day, each with the $20 allottment? I love me some wings and nachos and would like to get them multiple times throughout the day.

Yeah, RC system for routing calls to the at home agents, really stinks. Disconnections and "I can't hear you" are the norm for right now. Plus the agents know this so it gives them every opportunity to drop the call, if they want to.

Do you get the extra point for a suite if it is by royal up bid?
Only if you were in a JS or above before the upgrade.

I would move all three of you to the AquaTheater suite. Cancel the balcony. No penalty now.
Agreed, unless your husband and mother don't get along, or husband/mother don't want to sleep on the sofa bed (if in 1 bedroom ATS)! 😉 Even though there is no penalty, you would unfortunately still have to deal with FCC. So that may not be worth it to you. But more than likely, the cost of adding him with all the benefits, would be less than what he paid for the balcony. For example, I just booked the Wonder of the Seas in Star Class and the cost for the third person was "only " about $700.

No, sailing this Sunday. Booked last minute.
With booking last minute, then that more than likely was the only time that was available. But who knows, they may open something up until the day before, so keep checking. But if you book prior to 90 days out, then what @brillohead and I mentioned would hold true. 🙂

If check-in just opened up for your cruise, keep checking back every few days. It took about two weeks for my Allure cruise and about three weeks for my Freedom cruise for them to open up earlier arrival times.
Just go in to "edit your check-in" on the Cruise Planner and click on the little pencil icon by your SetSail Pass to make changes, then in the upper right corner will be a link to the Arrival page, and then click Select a Different Time.
If there isn't an earlier time yet, you can just close out of it and it will keep your current time. Keep checking back. I checked in for my Freedom cruise about ten minutes after check-in opened at midnight, and 3pm was the only time they offered. Now they have everything from noon on, in 30-minute increments.
This. On most cruises, once check-in opens up, the 3:00pm is a place holder time which shows as the only time for everyone. Keep checking everyday as the earlier times will eventually be added. There is no specific time when they will do it, it is random unfortunately. One of my cruises was 67 days out and one was 43 days out. I originally checked in with the same single placeholder 3pm time the second check-in time was opened up. Then when the times were loaded in they ranged from as early as 12:00pm until 4pm I believe. Just keep checking every day.- 4

FYI, no star Class suites will show up as available if only two guests are entered. They will only show up in Royal’s system when looking for three or more passengers. They then have to book for three then call a different department to remove the third person requirement. This is what I found out when booking with Royal over the phone. The agent was unaware of it and only found out when contacting their supervisor since all sailings were showing no Star Class suites. Once she entered three passengers, they all showed up as available.
Booked the 2 bedroom Aqua Suite on 04-15-2022.

$200 you pay for 2 people even though only 1 is sailing
Thank you for the clarification. -
I apologize in advance if this has been answered in the previous 200+ pages. I want to place a bid, but the wording is confusing. I am a single cruiser on my 10/22 Mariner sailing. The wording states it is based on double occupancy, however it states that only passenger one and two will be charged. So for the RoyalUp bidding and lets say I have a minimum bid of $100, being a single cruiser will the bid be for just the $100 or $200? Thanks in advance

Thank you. I will keep trying. Very frustrating.
You're welcome. Hopefully you will get this resolved soon. I had the same kind of issue with a PayPal refund and my bank, which was going back to a card that was cancelled by the bank proactively because it was possibly compromised in a 3rd party hack. PayPal said they sent it, bank said they never received it. It was very frustrating, and it was nothing but each blaming the other. It only got resolved after I mentioned legal action to the executive relations team at my bank and then, and only then, did they work with PayPal to get it resolved. I feel your pain, it is very frustrating indeed.
Edit to my other post: I believe his name is Christopher Elliott and he runs the Elliott Advocacy. I don't think I can post the link here, but you should find it by searching for it.

That is odd with what the bank said. Most banks will always accept a refund even if the account is closed. If it is closed then they would just send a check to you for the amount over what, if any, balance was owed. Call Royal and get the bank/refund transaction number. Most banks can use this number to track a refund or payment. If they give this to you then contact your bank and give them that number, to see if they can track it down.
If all else fails, contact those in my original message. Unfortunately if both the bank and RC will not help you, after going through all appropriate channels, the only other option is legal recourse.
One more option is contacting a travel advocate for issues such as these. I remember in the past reading articles in our local paper about an advocate who did this and he always gave his web address, but for the life of me, can't remember his name. If I find it I will post back.

Serenade of Seas itinerary change 10/30/21

It stinks, but it is the new normal, at least in the immediate future. I have been to Nassau what seems like 100s of times, so I feel you there. I enjoy Coco Cay though.
