  1. Okay great. Will they be open as soon as we board? Thankyou for this. My partner struggles with social situations as he's got a disability and so this would really help us.
  2. Awesome. We're only on for 3 nights, so I dont know if worth booking the paid for ones.
  3. My booking says "Free broadway style shows" included?
  4. Hi! I booked with a TA for a very last minute deal and could only choose Bella Late Dining. My partner and I would really like a table for two and dont care what time we eat. Is this going to be possible? This is on Virtuosa next Friday;
  5. Hello all! First time on MSC next week and I saw there are two shows that you need to pay for. They say you get a signature drink but we're on the premium drinks package so do we still pay for the show? Are there free shows as well? Only on for 3 nights and want to make the most of it.
  6. The click and collect option, you book a day to collect it and then you go there, they scan your QR code, give you the test in a box then you complete it yourself and upload your ID and test result to the website using your phone, then within2 hours you get your certificate. If you're coming from the US, there are also expresstest options for on site testing at the airports as well as in lots of handy places. Also, Boots (our version of Walgreens/CVS) offer bookable on site tests for Β£30 and there is a Boots on nearly every major street in the UK!
  7. Hi! John Heald is the Brand Ambassador for Carnival. Antigen tests or Lateral Flow Tests as they are also called can be in person or at home. To use for the cruise it needs to be done with a service that provides a fit fo fly certificate
  8. You are indeed correct. Im a similar situation, when I sailed on the Norwegian Getaway in September no kids were able to travel at all due to the requirements so lots had to cancel. sadly, protocols change and as people have said, booking a cruise during s pandemic, comes with risks and challenges and you do so in the knowledge that these things can happen. usually in situations like this Carnival will offer a Future Cruise Credit but sometimes you can get a refund. Im sorry that your kids won’t be able to sail this cruise, perhaps rebook for 2023 with your cruise credit?
  9. I'd wager it would be pretty bad PR/marketing for the line to disclose such things, plus here in the UK and most of Europe, we have GDPR regulations to follow which means personal data, such as health, is private and cannot be shared without a solid reason. Thus, if Carnival did post details of cases, they would possibly be in breach.
  10. That's why vloggers like me exist haha πŸ˜„ Information is our thing! πŸ˜„
  11. Amazing to hear! Hope you have an amazing trip and if youre on my cruise at any time, say hello πŸ™‚
  12. I don't think anyone has judged anyone at all?
  13. I find that very interesting. I always see people being judgemental etc, but my questions are always to learn and show interest. We all vacation differently and that's a good thing. For me, I'm in bed usually before the buffet closes lol - I can't keep my eyes open past 11pm lol. I'm really excited for my cruise in 4 weeks on the Pride and I doubt late night eating will be a factor for me, but I do hope that the staffing issue won't cause too many delays for dinners in the evening.
  14. The room service menu is lovely looking too!
  15. Hi! I double checked with John Heald and for the Europe cruises, a certified LFT is fine, just as long as you get a certificate (called a Fit to Fly in the UK) - it doesn't have to be proctored/observed unless you are flying or sailing to or from the USA. I am using ExpressTest at a cost of Β£12 per person.
  16. Would love you to check out my channel at youtube.com/kascapades πŸ™‚ I am also an LGBT youtuber.
  17. My point with the cultural comment was that I've seen a lot of people talking about this lately and it seems to be from only US cruisers. Is it more common in the US to eat later? I'd say here in the UK, the only time anyone eats after say 8pm is if they've been out drinking at the clubs lol
  18. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I've never understood the need or desire to eat that late. Nor have I ever been hungry on a cruise. I can barely eat at each meal time, there's so much food! I don't think I've ever eaten after 9pm on a cruise.
  19. Hey all! I’ll be on Pride in 6 weeks and just wondering what playlist productions shows are currently onboard as well as what other evening shows they have?thanks!
