  1. Your math only works if you factor in that each person will drink two cocktails per day...and that's just to break even! Last October My wife and I were on Royal's Jewel of the Seas for 10 nights in Greece. My total bar tab was $161.79. 🤑
  2. Wrong. You just pay for the individual drinks without buying the drink package. Not a difficult concept to grasp.
  3. I think the point is that RC cruisers can buy a drink if they don't have the drink package.
  4. It's very possible with a port-intensive itinerary. Having 1 or 2 drinks in the evening doesn't add up to much.
  5. I'm on the 1/29 cruise. My second time on Celebrity and Summit. I think (hope) you'll enjoy it.
  6. I've enjoyed both. I'd say it like Kohl's vs. Wal-Mart.
  7. Simple, because my bar tab ends up costing less than the gratuities on the "free" package.
  8. I've already done both of those things. Last cruise 15 feet wasn't long enough. Thanks for answering a different question than I asked though.
  9. As a CPAP user, I've grown tired of playing the "find the outlet" game and running extension cords all around my stateroom. Thinking of buying a CPAP battery and using that as my main power source. No cords needed. Just wondering if anyone here has tried that. Thanks.
  10. Is there a reason you didn't return the car to Divi? I also have an upcoming Hertz rental from Divi for my fourth time to Bonaire (third on a cruise).
  11. Best cruise website! It's saved me lots of money, plus their search engine is very powerful.
  12. That's nice, but didn't answer either of my questions.
  13. Just booked on Grandeur. My Time Dining was unavailable, so I chose the 8 pm fixed time, although I'm on the waitlist for MTD. I've never done fixed time dining before. I've requested a table for 2, and was told that is not guaranteed. In your experience, have you had to share a larger table? Also, how does the MTD wait list work? Will Royal contact me if an opening comes up or will I need to follow up? Thanks all!
  14. Dig a little deeper and look at the times for each day in port. Some stops can have only a few hours in port.
  15. My wife and I have been on 3 NCL cruises and have always been able to get a table for two.
  16. Thanks. I'm also booked on this cruise next year.
  17. Sorry to hear your cruise was less than stellar. I've been on 3 Norwegian cruises post-pandemic and the food and entertainment was good on all of them. The Epic is the ship I intentionally avoid. I don't think you'll regret trying a different NCL ship someday.
  18. Same thing happened to me last year. My Baltic cruise was cancelled (for obvious reasons), so they refunded my deposit and issued a 10% coupon for a future cruise. Like you, my original cruise was over a year away. I was able to apply the 10% discount on an NCL cruise that I had already booked.
