  1. I got to say this is a good question (one I never thought about). It usually happens casually, non rehearse or forced. Sometimes it’s a knock on the door to see if we need anything or when we are coming in or out of the cabin. If memory serves me right, they already know our name at first sight with a warm greeting explaining who they are and introduce their assistant (if they still have them anymore). Basically it will just happen naturally and as as others mentioned after that you will likely only see them occasionally as they are taking care of all their other cabins or delivering something you need to your cabin. Hope you enjoy your first cruise as much as we did 🙂
  2. Sadly, I think another part that could play a roll into this is how ….. not sure how to say this… divided we have become. It’s something we shelter ourself from now unfortunately. Just being honest.
  3. I want to share how much I appreciate all my fellow CC members' pain that went into trying to debug this app out before I gave it a try this past weekend. Though I was genuinely concerned about trying it, I know their challenging work and complaints went a long way to force Princess to get this darn app to work. So, to report, I had zero issues from beginning to end inputting all info/data into app on my iphone13. It took a couple of days to get all green check marks for all documents and pics I scanned. We were able to get all DMW reservations including specialty reservations for our cruise this coming Oct 1. I just wanted to share my gratitude to all the members here that have helped with their comments (both positive and negative) to force this app to work. Cheers, John
  4. Honestly, in all our years cruising I have never heard of stories like I have here on the Princess board the past several months. We have our first Princess cruise coming up but think we have cruised most all the other lines previously and when someone gets an upgrade it’s from a inside to a OV or a OV to a balcony, etc. These small little class changes are just ridiculous and I also would be upset. Just find this so bizarre for Princess to do???
  5. So to follow up, my savings basically covered the cost of our EZair flights (way cool). Final payment was due in a week or so, so I just took care of that while I was talking with TA about reduction in price. So, all is done now, and I feel freedom that I don't need to spend any more time focusing on prices anymore (not saying I still couldn't save a few dollars off, I'm just satisfied at the price we are at now). Sadly, the time has come I must start dealing with the Medallion app. Everyone please say a prayer for my sanity 🙂 Cheers

Here in the US you can basically same the same regarding J&J as the first shot (I’m one of the minorities that fall into that group because that is all they had the day I showed up fo my first shot). Since then I had a Moderna and a Pfizer booster. Who knows what the flavor of the month will be for my next booster (lol)
  8. Thanks so much Rabin1 for your posts. Been keeping an eye on our cruise prices for October but haven't checked for a few days. Sure enough, they have dropped (not as much as yours but enough to contact TA to get re-fare). This is why I still love Cruise Critic 🙂 Cheers, John

  12. Hi, It is tough when you loose a good TA and we recently went through the process of finding a new one. The "compete" site use to be a good source but post covid I found out only a few good TA's were quoting there (and not regularly either). We all have our expectations on the service we want from a TA. One of mine is I want a same day reply regardless of the topic. On the other hand, I know that sometimes it takes a lot of hold time for a TA to get through to Princess and I try to respect their time so, if it's <$200 savings I just hold off contacting her. But, this is just me and your entitled to figure out your own threshold. Wishing you all the luck in the world finding a new one 🙂
