Oh come on….. everyone would rather procrastinate and wait until the last minute to make a payment😆🤣😆. We are actually totally like you and always pay way before any deadline (this goes for any of our bills). No need for any unnecessary stress and penalties for a possible unforeseen hiccup with a payment (like me totally forgetting the due date😁).

Respect your opinion but don’t agree the large majority of US citizens don’t get a passport because it’s the size of our country. BTW, For clarification I’m a US born and raised citizen. I know lots of friends that don’t have passports.

Sadly, I don’t think the reason a lot of Americans don’t get a passport is because our country is so large.

I’m a little confused (sometimes normal for me)…. Regardless if you can hook your Roku streaming device into the TV or not, what good is it going to do for your reported internet speed of 120Kbs? Roku does not have any recording ability that I know of and needs a min of 3Mbs to run (per their specs). Apologize if I’m not understanding what your trying to do streaming with that slow of internet.

It looks like there are 8 different cruises available that month and at least that many distinct categories. It might help if you gave a lot more specifics so someone could help you. Cheers, John

I'll share with you our personal experience with this and why it is that way at LHR... When transferring from trans-Atlantic flight from US to connect to an intra-Europe flight, my feelings were the same as yours, why do we have to do this again? Then as we were standing in this long security line a commotion started up at one of the screening stations and several officers showed up and the next thing, we see is them pulling out 5 huge knifes out of someone handbag (like the Rambo kind 9 inches long). My wife and I were like WOW, how did they get that on their first flight??? Again, this was strictly a transfer security site, not an area someone could get to without first getting off another flight. So, I learn that though security at airports might be a pain in the butt, there are reasons they do what they do. Mostly at LHR. Cheers, John

Exact same experience on Enchanted Crown Grill in October. But, we really enjoyed every meal in MDR 🙂

The one important reason for having the medallion that I didn’t see mentioned: This is what was used to get you back onboard at every port. A quick scan and photo pops up on monitor for security to confirm your on the correct ship 🙂

I always support anyone that wants to try a different cruise line out. Variety is the spice of life isn’t it? I Have yet found the perfect cruise line myself but, they all have various things that are better and sometimes worse between them. I tend to just focus on the positives. Give Princess a try. Maybe after that Viking and Oceania. There are many cruise lines that you likely will have great memories from 🙂

Many cruises on many different lines and never had a issue with checked bags. I do agree that a carry on with meds and change of clothes is always a good idea regardless if it’s a cruise, flight, or hotel.

This is a little disturbing to me as our OBC if from gift cards we purchased ourself with $USD. Not something we planned but result from cancelled cruises in 2020. Guess I rather be upset about it now and get over it rather than learning about it when we board. Still just doesn’t feel right though

And the vivid bizarre dreams are something else also for me. Figured I’m sleeping 14 hours a day. I think work is kind of wondering if I ever plan to come back 🤣. Back on topic, I just read on the Australia board that they are making all passengers on the Grand take a Covid test before reaching New Zealand (3 sea days from embarkation at Melbourne). They haven’t announced there is a high level of Covid and speculation is that New Zealand might be requiring this before first port for all cruises now. This is not over folks.

I think everyone reacts different to Covid (wether they have symptoms or not). I write this as I’m on day 8 of having Covid for my first time (vaccinated and 3 boosters). My symptoms have been between mild to moderate, but I certainly been much sicker before and I’m not going to be scared of getting Covid again. But, the point I want to get at is this has lasted a lot longer for me than I thought it would. I simply haven’t had the energy to go outside or walk around even if I wanted to. Just thankful this didn’t hit me in the middle of a cruise.

Honest to God this is what a lot of people believe 🤣 To OP, the only time masks are required for Australia/NZ cruises is getting on/off ship UNLESS ship reaches a specific tier level of infected passengers.
