  1. Has anyone had any experience recently with the dogs there? We've been hearing that carnival has really upped their game with the dogs recently and may be having dogs on the ships. I only ask this because the wife is DEATHLY afraid of dogs and is even on edge when she sees the"litter box" for pups on the ships. Just curious.
  2. When you say you consume a lot of coffee, exactly what kind of coffee? If you're cool with just drop coffee, and adding cream and sugar, the free lido coffee is tolerable. The de-caf, not so much. Java cafe though, mmmmm. I'm pretty sure it's the same drip but what they do with it, mmmmm. But that's all pay coffee. I'm pretty sure you can get some sort of coffee card but I'm not sure of the specifics. There's a thread going now about that exact thing though.
  3. Does anyone have any screen shots of any recent "fun times" programs?
  4. Waaaay to rough for her. She be rocking that mirror finish on 3000 grit😉
  5. Sister will be sanding with her birth certificate and driver's license. Question is, will it be an issue that her drivers license has her married name and her birth certificate has her maiden name?
  6. They want to your money twice my friend
  7. I've heard that carnival will offer people "upgrades" to less desirable rooms, because it's easier to sell the room that has already sold. If that makes sense. They're trying to get you to take a room that's not selling so that they can resell the popular one that you have. Gotta fill that ship baby!
  8. Well, there's an idea. Now if we can just find out how to get celery on these ships.
  9. Yeah, so when they make a giant thing, it's their "mix" and they can't just make one on the spot without using their mix. The reason I think it's made in-house is because sometimes it's spicy, sometimes it's not.
  10. Cove all day baby. Way more private, much closer to the water, almost have complete shade coverage, and it goes on and on.
  11. I'm pretty sure it's made inhouse. You may have better luck looking for the recipe.
  12. If you get the cheers package, you get all the coffee you want!
  13. We're trying to make a reservation at cappuccino, but are trying to take into consideration the times that camp Ocean are open and offering services. Can anybody me in the right direction as to where I can find the schedules for camp Ocean? Specifically for embarkation Day.
  14. This isn't a topic on the price of water bottles everyone. Original question has been answered. No, they are not changing policy on wine.
  15. Hey there. Everybody gets to do online check-in 14 days prior to the sailing date. 1201 a.m. eastern time. If your platinum, you get to do it 2 days early, 16 days prior to the sailing date 12:01 Eastern Time. Everybody gets to choose their preferred check-in time based on availability. First come first serve. Platinum will get the advantage of being able to choose first as your check-in is 2 days earlier than everybody else.
  16. HAPPY SAILING! We sail Sunday and got the cheers package for ourselves. Can't wait for all the specialty coffee. 😍😍
  17. I don't think so. I grabbed some Cubans every time, and have never had an issue in Long Beach getting off
  18. This is going to be more of an opinion thing, but to be honest, I felt the bottomless bubbles to me not worth it for my 12 year old daughter. We ended up just getting the drinks that she wanted on our cheers program, and giving them to her. Not alcohol or anything, but for instance, I don't think that bottomless bubbles includes water bottles? So we were constantly getting her water bottles. As far as I know it only covers soda, but I could be wrong. Long story short, we will not be doing bottomless bubbles again. But instead just bringing her the sodas that she wants on board, and getting her waters, gatorade, decaf coffee, etc, on our cheers program. If there's three of you, that's a total of 36 cans of soda that you can bring.
  19. Anyone have any recent miracle menus. Specifically the brunch menus
  20. My best upgrade was an Oceanview to an ocean suite. Got the call the morning of and only had to pay 100 bucks. I was even almost able to use obc. That didn't work out though. The cool part was it was may families first cruise. My 4th I think but their first.
  21. Understood. So I'm not positive on this but I think the normal rate for convention center parking is somewhere around 25-40 dollars a day. I think that what the pass is for is to let them know that we're overflow from cruise parking which makes is only 20 dollars a day? And maybe they have rules about overnight parking at the convention center which the pass makes an exception to the rule?
  22. Just got an email from carnival. Yup, no parking at the terminal.
  23. What they're saying is go to the port first to drop off your luggage and get a sign to put in your car letting them know your for the carnival miracle. I think
