  1. Hi, we’re new to NCL. It seems like almost everyone will have drinks included based on the deals offered. Does this make it difficult? I’m imagining a huge crowd at every bar on the ship. I’m NOT referring to low season. Please don’t tell me how easy it is with half occupancy. Think spring or early summer with a full ship. What’s it like? Thanks.
  2. I have been on Mardi Gras 4 times and Celebration once. I’m curious if anyone else considers these as the only ships to sail on. I absolutely love them, never eat in the MDR. My pattern is something like Steakhouse, Rudi’s, Cucina, Chibang, Guy’s P&A, Bonsai. My kids are equally as happy with the water park and Bolt, shows ect. Bottom line we are chill with the crowds and have a great time. Question - For the east coast US what is the next best ship we would also enjoy? The ports are getting repetitive.
  3. Guy’s P&A or the steakhouse. Good luck! If not then I’m confusing it with Mardi Gras or another ship.
  4. I have been on Mardi Gras 3 times and Celebration once. Woodford Rs is plentiful but Basil H and Blanton’s ran out quickly.
  5. Last year my family of 5 were on RC Odyssey in Athens and went on a cruise purchased excursion. It was an all day schedule and traffic was difficult around the big attractions. As we neared the end of the stops it was obvious there was no way we were going to make it back to the ship in time. No one cared, the entire bus, we all enjoyed every minute of being in this amazing city. For me, the lack of stress greatly out weighs any cost savings for independent excursions. We all strolled back onto the ship 1 hour late.
  6. First timers to the Miami port. We are doing a Spring Break cruise on the Celebration and I was concerned about a long line to pay and exit the parking garage on our return home. Would it be better if we can find a spot in the open parking lot "Lot 2" on Google maps? Appreciate any info from the Miami experts. Thanks.
  7. Put the money in a slot > Hit Cash Out > take the ticket to the Cashier > take the cash to a table game. Easy peasy.
  8. RC rep told my TA that it will take 14 days for the OBC to be processed through the system for the price drop compensation. After this I should get an email confirmation of the credit. Does this sound similar to others that have already done this? Thanks.
  9. If you used a TA, do you have to go through them to get the price drop credit? Thanks
