  1. Okay, let's get this straight. Stress is what causes heart attacks. Bacon and cheese reduce stress.
  2. Good grief. So if somebody moves your crap off a chair then Security is going to lock somebody up? Don't they have real issues to deal with?
  3. ?! Isn't a contrarian just somebody who doesn't agree with everybody else? Are you sure that is what a troll is? That doesn't seem right.
  4. This post makes no sense to me. What are you taking about?
  5. And some go on a cruise to have fun and not get "angry" at anybody.
  6. On my last cruise, I saw 97 chairs with crap on them and a total of 7 people in the pool and hot tubs. It's just math.....
  7. I also have an upcoming Bliss cruise. I made dinner reservations weeks ago and the entertainment reservations recently became available. In my case, NCL's system would not allow me to make an entertainment reservation on the same night as a dinner reservation (even a 9:30 show). I cancelled the offending dinner reservation (via chat) and was then able to book Jersey Boys. YMMV.
  8. Wow. Really? Why are you beating up on my Wayward friend?
  9. It's the internet. People post made-up crap all the time. Unfortunately, many posters don't understand this.
  10. I like it when somebody gets up at the crack of dawn to get a towel and leave it on the chair I'm about to occupy!
  11. Yeah. Pretty much. Eastern Caribbean is border line. Why do you ask?
  12. Probably not. Would it make you happy if something bad did happen? I mean, that would mean that you win. Right?
  13. Yes. Just stick with destinations that have less risk. Is there more risk in the third world than AK or HI? So, there you go.
  14. Anybody who reads my posts. Such as @Distinctive-Destinations It's not paranoia if there really are awful people out there. If you need more evidence, just turn on the news (NOT a recommendation).
  15. I have a good friend with a daughter who was scheduled to travel with a group of church youth into Mexico to do some charity work. He told the leaders that he would not approve. They told him "don't worry, there are armed guards where we are going." That didn't help.🤣 He later found out that he was one of three parents who refused to approve of the trip. The other two??? One was a county sheriff and the other was a city policeman. Perhaps they knew more and had a broader perspective than Sam and Susie Sunshine.
  16. Not at all. I believe that the vast majority of people on this blue marble are good, friendly people. Those aren't that ones we should be concerned about. No place in this world is 100% safe. It appears that most here are fine with traveling in areas that are 90+% safe. That's not good enough for me but is certainly may be for you and other cruisers. "Don't worry" is a lot like "hold my beer." Bad stuff can easily follow.
  17. Who vetted them? Did you see a background check? Were they armed? Were their guns bigger than the bad guys' guns?
  18. I'm pretty sure that the passengers on the Titanic also felt "completely safe and looked after." Who on the Marley bus was looking after you?
  19. I need some context here. Why are you asking me for this information?
  20. Or, even better yet, only get on a cruise ship that travels to first world ports! 😎
  21. Is this really true?
