How are these "exclusive?"

Which of these can't I find at many bars (obviously, you won't find a nice chair in the sun)?

I wish we had that, but I don't think anybody has ever reported a reliable pattern. NCL seems to release itineraries 18 - 24 months out in my experience, but it's not reliable. They tend to release by "season." Think AK vs. Carribean.

Check the cruise line and travel agency websites. Read about here from somebody making a report. Possibly look for news releases from the cruise lines.

Yeah, I was trying to decipher that as well. Obviously, the passengers who were supposed to board are entitled to refunds (possibly with choice of a partial refund if they stay in an NCL hotel for a few days and then board a shortened itinerary). Did I read somewhere that NCL is planning to charge the room accounts a premium for those who were invited to extend their time on the ship a few days? Maybe it was on the mysterious "other place" that I read about so often.

What I typically see is people washing their hands. Probably 98% of the time, but I really don't watch that closely. Most people are not pigs.

It's the account they set up for you on every cruise that they charge drink taxes, DSC, on board purchases, etc. to. Total invoice is the cost of the cruise (base fare, taxes, port fees, FAS gratuities, etc.). Are you saying that your total invoice is sometimes less than $500? Are you using CAS?

Are you talking about the total cruise invoice or just the on-line cabin account?

Does NCL sail there during the summer? Wouldn't I also want "purchased shade" on a sunny day in January?

AAA and AARP cards work just fine.

I've always been able to find some shade, but not necessarily all that great. IIRC, there are some tables with umbrella shades at one or two for the food/drink venues. I would still recommend good sunshade, hat and SPF swim shirt.

Cookies I can live without, just give me back my hashbrowns.

Could he also have been suggesting that they cut crew in order to book more guests? I could read that either way.

Why would you use the Amazon holders for the NCL provided tags?

I didn't have to.

I've received the NCL tags for several recent cruises, and I'm most certainly NOT in the Haven. I do prefer the heavy vinyl, self-adhesive, NCL provided tags. That said, if those don't show up, I do have the Amazon holders and they are great.

I'm guessing that they were VERY interested in her money! 😄
