I want to 2nd and 3rd the Chilkoot tour up into the Yukon. It was my favorite excursion in Alaska.

You have plenty of time but talk to your Chilkoot guide. We had Ethan a couple of weeks ago. He can drop you off at the best spot in town so you won't have to backtrack. Huge rec for both the Chilkoot tour and this walk out to the Point.

I'm fine with the shampoo/conditioner combo to wash my hair but I wish I had brought my own conditioner. It didn't get my tangles out. The body wash is fine and there's lotion and hand soap in the sink area.

I didn't rent a car but took the tour up to Emerald Lake with Chilkoot just last week. Very easy processing through both customs. We had to confirm our passport and ArriveCan info with Chilkoot prior to the tour. This was my favorite excursion and Best Day of the cruise.

I was there 3 days ago and it's iced over but you can see the thaw and the green. Very pretty. I used Chilkoot for a tour from Skagway because I wanted to see Carcross and Emerald Lake. A wonderful day and an easy trip into Canada with them. I didn't miss the train experience.

It's frustrating! Here's what we do. I go to cruisemapper.com, get the coordinates and copy/paste into Google Maps. You have to key them into Google Maps in this format: 52.37662, -132.21565 It's still pretty slow. The TV map isn't work for me. It's not detailed enough.
