I understand that Legendary Voyages have unique itineraries with some additional speakers, but are there any other significant differences? Are the menus unique? Is the dress code the same? Are there traditional formal nights? Any additional information would be appreciated.
Perhaps there was some maintenance or construction they needed to do on starboard side last week so they moved it to the port side for the week. Thanks for your observations.
It really doesn't matter because the secondhand smoke drifts from the Sea View bar area to the seating on the other side. Much of the time both sides are unusable for people sensitive to secondhand smoke.
If you are looking for things that did not flow, how about getting off for a shore excursion. You gather in the theatre and when your number is called you walk through the ship, down a couple sets of stairs through the Martini Bar to get to the exit under the Magic Carpet. It is so much simpler on other ships just to exit the theatre and go down the stairs or take the elevator directly to the exit.
I'll respectfully suggest that this is an understatement. I am still confused why a cruise line would eliminate the most common type of cabin without understanding how people use the balconies.
Shorter itineraries, higher prices and no true balconies on E-class ships for non-suite guests have contributed to us selecting other cruise lines for future cruises. Nothing in this response suggests that we will come back to Celebrity.
We have an upcoming cruise booked on the Noordam and I understand that smoking is permitted in the Oak Room. I was wondering if the smoke also enters the Crows Nest area and affects that area. I was also considering booking a cabin outside of the Crows Nest and was curious if some of those cabins are affected by smoke from the Oak Room.
TIA
A better question is, "Will we ever return to Celebrity?" Shorter itineraries, IV balconies on E-class ships and current high pricing has sent me to the exit gates. I'll continue to look at Celebrity to see if there is an interesting itinerary, but I currently don't have any cruises booked on Celebrity.
