  1. Wow !!! Never seen anything like this - I’m used to the cramped, wet and full of fumes ones.
  2. There is a market for cruise stuff especially if it’s not available any more - maybe this is a discontinued badge ? I find it sad that someone feels the need to sell this - perhaps they don’t like it - but maybe they are desperate. But some people will buy anything - did you see the program about someone who put a piece of “old rope” for sale on eBay as an experiment - and someone bought it.
  3. We are still booking with p&o as the holidays overall have always been good - but it’s been a long time since the last one so we will see what the next one is like - august 23. Adults only and sailing from Southampton - both very important for us.
  4. Didn’t get one so don’t know ! But this looks good. Nice retro badge.
  5. Yes - I agree. I expect them to get things right if they offer them - it’s the lack of attention to detail and lack of consistency that annoys me - even if it’s a small thing.
  6. Slippers ??? Eh ???? !!!! I didn’t get them !!! Not fair !!! it’s interesting to see who gets what.
  7. We were Atlantic before the last one - got all the other benefits stated - but not the pin !
  8. Just for fun and if it’s offered I like to see it followed through.
  9. How did you get them ? Were they put in your cabin ?
  10. Thanks very much - that rings a bell now - yes I remember now using the voucher in one of the bars memory problems. I will try and remember for next time. Didn’t get the lapel pin though - I’m sure of that - I’ll ask at reception next time.
  11. I’m on P&O Atlantic Tier - just received a loyalty benefits email - it mentions a free glass of champagne on departure and a lapel pin - has anyone ever had these as I didn’t get these on the last cruise where we were Atlantic Tier. Also mentions dedicated loyalty manager on board ? the discounts all worked though. thanks if anyone knows.
  12. Thanks - I’d forgotten that - it’s been so long since we have had to do this , we haven’t flown anywhere in years and have only been on cruises ex uk where all immigration done for us on board.
  13. Worth a try I suppose - the risk is having to go to the back of the UK queue and start again. If the queues are small I’ll try it. Do you know if this is reciprocated by the UK for her - when we come back ? She has right to remain but I can’t remember if she needs to go through the EU queue coming back.
  14. We love breakfast in the dining rooms - white table cloth - proper napkins - comfortable - service etc - Sometimes use the buffet if we are in a hurry for a trip - the buffet on Iona was really good and the seating was better with more room than in buffets on other ships we have been on.
  15. Ok - that looks like it might be tricky. thanks
  16. Thanks picsa - that makes sense - it was the leaving just before 90 and returning that I missed. My wife is Finnish so that’s good to know ! I also still get the EU health card because of this - and she gets the UK one because of me ! We will have to go through different passport queues though, where they have them. Pain. thanks for the info shipmate.
  17. I think you still need a visa to stay after 90 days - in France anyway from what I have just read if you are a non EU spouse of an EU citizen. ? Doesn’t seem that clear to me.
  18. Thanks Wowzz - I’ll check that forum - as a fantasy.
  19. Thanks Angel - excellent - sounds fantastic
  20. I would give it a try - if I could afford it. Anyone here done this ? Like 90 days or more ? World cruise etc ? off topic I know .
  21. Ok - have to get off after 90 days then join a ship going ex-EU for 90 days then come back.
  22. If you don’t get off does it still count towards the 90 days i.e the ship being docked in an EU port with you on board but you don’t disembark ?
  23. 62 and 70 but we always liked the smaller/medium ships right from when we first started cruising - when we weren’t older !! mainly because they were adults only but also we like the atmosphere better. Tried Iona once but didn’t like it at all. Next p&o booked is August 23 on Aurora - originally Christmas 2020 on Arcadia changed to Christmas 2021 due to covid and then cancelled by p&o so moved to Aurora Aug 23.
  24. Has anyone let the managers know about these issues Tring ? and any response ? thanks
  25. Thanks for the sit. report Tring Hope you are enjoying the cruise despite the issues.
