  1. Will be following along as we will be embarking on Adventure on May 21 as you get off. So take care of her for us!
  2. Has anyone heard anything from OP? So hard to tell with all back and forth nonsense from the usual suspects on CC.
  3. Second Royal U p bid process, second win. So far we are 2 for 2. I bid on a balcony on our Enchantment sailing back in Jan and got that one. This time around we bid on a Grand Suite, Spacious OV, and a Promenade View (we were in an interior) and we got the Promenade View. Which I'll take since we only bid the min.
  4. I decided to book this test option for our upcoming sailing on May 21. I will be also using it for our Bermuda Travel authorization. I will report back how that all goes. 25.00 for both of us is the cheapest option I've seen yet. Happy to hear firsthand that RCCL is accepting them. I have a SDM test booked as a backup. We have 2 full boxes of the free tests that we can get in Ontario so it will be great to use 2 of tests for this purpose. We will also take a few of them with us on our sailing.
  5. Will be following along. There aren't that many solo trip reports on CC so it is fantastic to read along and get the perspective of a solo cruiser. Enjoy the sailing.
  6. Not trying to be rude in any way shape or form, but if you feel the need to keep a stateroom attendant out of your room on a cruise then I would suggest you not travel right now. Are you somehow at a high risk if you catch Covid (immunocompromised or other issues)? If so then I 100% understand being cautious but a potential infection from a stateroom attendant cleaning your room is about the least of your worries.
  7. Add us to that list of no issues with SDM embarking a RCCL. At least 5 people looked at the tests and no one had any comments or problems with them.
  8. We have not yet, but will on May 21 as well (what sailing are you on?). Still cannot book our appointment yet as the window hasn't opened. We did use them to fly via Westjet last month and there was no issue.
  9. Personally I love this idea. Gets the point across and after all priorities, priorities right. Keep the tap turned off until the muster is done. I bet bar staff will jump right in to assist as their tip revenue will be on hold until the muster is done also.
  10. I apologize if this has been asked before (I am sure it has), but I cannot seem to find the Cliff Notes version. My wife and I booked a sort of spur of the moment sailing next month (May 21) to Bermuda on Adventure Of The Seas. We will be driving to the port and will get tested Thursday evening (I will book a Walmart Rapid Antigen with a Shoppers Drug Mart as a backup), to emabark. That seems simple enough and we did the same thing when we sailed back in Jan of this year. However I understand there is a proceedure we must follow for Bermuda. I have went to the website, but I wondered if anyone could ease my mind and assure me that the test I'm planning on booking for Thursday evening (the 19th of May) would work for the process for Bermuda. Thanks everyone.
