I like to make arrangements for personal excursions (i.e., golfing) when we go on cruises. Got messed up on last cruise to Cabo in April by not appreciating the difference between ships time and real time. The itinerary said we would dock in Cabo at 10 AM, but it was really 11 AM in Cabo. Had to quickly cancel my tee time and transportation reservations. The US changes to Daylight Savings Time adds confusion to this issue as well.
We're going on a Panama Canal cruise leaving out of Galveston (CDT) in October. Wondering if anyone had any experience with how those ships will manage ships time. Will it stay on CDT or convert to the current time zone?
Thanks for any help.
