We were planning to go to the Brewery last week. Hopefully, you will hear from your friends soon. We had limited cell service while we were on the west side of Maui.

We just got home after spending a week on the west side of Maui. On Tuesday there were very strong winds and the electricity went out early in the morning. The power to our condo was eventually restored late Saturday evening. We had limited cell service. On the way to the airport we got a glimpse of Lahaina and saw the devastation.

Hi Steve, I looked into this last year for a balcony cabin. I was told that I couldn't add on any free at sea promotions and ended up cashing in a lot of my points. I still have more than enough for another balcony cabin.

I just received my Cruise Vacation Guide. It was a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting anything. Very helpful for a newbie on O.

@Sthrngary Wow! That is really a detailed list of the suite amenities. You definitely done your research. I tried to find out information, but didn't even get close to what you discovered. Not only is this helpful to me, but I'm sure other newbies will appreciate all your information. I'm getting more and more excited to sail on Oceania. Thanks again.

@Sthrngary Thanks for all your helpful information as I really appreciate it. Is there a pre concierge to get in touch with to select the pillow menu or canapes? Yes, I have read your Haven Secrets and you list some really good points. I guess we been lucky and always had good butlers. Can’t complain as we got very spoiled on our cruises. We will be sailing in a PH2 suite.

@Sthrngary No need to apologize to me. I shouldn’t have posted the dollar amount as I didn’t know you wanted to keep it private. You shouldn’t really care what others think, as you paid for the upgrade and did score a great deal. Be happy about that. Every time we post on CC, we open ourselves up to be attacked one way or another. We have sailed many times on NCL in the Haven and really enjoy the experience. This will be our first time in a suite on Oceania and looking forward to comparing the two brands. I just received my official cruise vacation planner which was a nice surprise. I know what to expect from NCL’s butlers, but I haven’t found out much about the O’s butlers. Do you have any information on the butlers? Any other helpful information on suites would be appreciated.

@Sthrngary I been reading your posts and you mentioned you paid for your upgrade to the Vista Suite. Did you also write letters to the top executives? Is this how you got your Vista Suite for only $4700 per person? Sounds like a great deal.

Has anyone else received $100 pp OBC that couldn't upgrade because they were in the highest category?

I'm booked on the Koningsdam and added CO. I'm in the highest category level and no upgrade was available. We only got $50 pp OBC. How did you get $100 pp OBC?
