  1. We typically do the $250 deposit and booking through our PCC and then just apply the CF ourselves at a later time.
  2. Lol. I enjoyed OP’s creativity in expressing the presence of WEED (skunk) emoji in their YC Cabin and just assumed it was penned under the influence of second-hand WEED (skunk) emoji. Or it could have been that good nights rest and calm. I appreciate the post and glad they reported it. As a side note, for those of you who haven’t been to NYC lately…WEED (skunk) emoji is everywhere. At the 7-11 store next to our hotel, I found myself in the middle of a drug deal as I got our morning coffee. The dealer had a jar of buds and was trading right there, plain sight of everyone. Not so funny…right outside there is a mobile NYC police precinct. 🤷‍♀️
  3. We have switched to CF as well. We typically buy a CF cert when they run the $250 for $500 cert. It is nice that they start the 120 days from date of purchase which allows for use on cruises past final payment—although we haven’t used it for a last minute cruise.
  4. Dang that must have been a pretty big drop to cover airfare +. Good luck…hope you can get a FCC. Always nice to look forward to another cruise.
  5. Maybe not…the BOGO airfare may not be available. When I did a mock booking it didn’t offer air promo…but that was through the NCL website.
  6. Wishing that for you. Athens pre or post trip is a must do. We stayed in Plaka and it is a very walkable neighborhood with lots of restaurants and coffee houses and close to major attractions.
  7. Greek Islands. But sailing into and out of Bermuda was beautiful as well.
  8. Actually I don’t think Dh was impressed either. I think they pounded it too much, thus the size. And I think the salad was supposed to be dressed on top
  9. We watched a cute couple have to abandon a full box of pastries that they had purchased for the crew in Bermuda. The gangway crew wouldn’t even accept the pastries for themselves.
  10. DH ordered the Veal and OMG it is huge. It caught us by surprise and we couldn’t stop laughing how it was as big as the United States🤣
  11. So I put it out there about 3 o’clock ET and it continues to be top trending with over 50 comments almost all favorable for solo and several (those who understand) for main international. I even had a confirmation that the group is administered by Delta. Fingers-crossed. Would be a great enhancement for 2024. I also shutdown a stockholder who claimed it would give him less of a return. I shared how he would make 50% more when he sold your companion seat st full fare.
  12. A strategy is an idea that gets you closer to your goal. So NCHL will identify ways to make guests more fulfilled but still provide a positive ROI. Good luck with that…easier said than done.
  13. You lost me at 3/2…lol. Actually the LearnPro teaches more about when to hit, hold, double, split and it takes you through 340 scenarios. I will have to Google to learn more about what you mentioned…not that I’ll ever sit at the table. 1) not confident enough and 2) cheap. But congrats to you and your DW for knowing how to walk away 😎
  14. @cruiseny4life saw your daily itinerary on the other post. You might enjoy this app. LearnPro Blackjack. It teaches you the strategy behind Blackjack then you can practice what you have learned. It costs $2.99 but after that there is no more cost. I haven’t played for awhile, but when I was practicing I was up to 96% accuracy. I thought I would try playing on our cruise last fall…but then I realized I was way too cheap to play a min $5 per hand.
  15. Honestly, that would make so much sense for solo travelers. I think I may float your idea and mine on the fb page for Skymiles. I think one of the admins is a Delta employee. Or at least the page is monitored.
  16. I hope it is just a delay, and I hope that they will be able to roll this show to more ships. We saw the debut on Broadway in 2019 and it is such a light-hearted funny production. @BirdTravels Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice
  17. Yes, I double down on this issue. There have been a number of European itineraries with decent prices…we just can afford to get over there. I wish the airlines who offer companion tickets with their private label credit cards (i.e., Delta) would allow international travel.
  18. Yes, but it seems that traders went bonkers on an occupancy % and had that been balanced with published higher revenue projections (RevPAC) the stock price would have been less volatile.
  19. Yeah, I understand that…just needed a little education to remind me. Thanks.
  20. Oh, I’m so sorry for thanking the wrong person. They took down the thread(s) so fast, I was going by memory of the monotone/sepia image for your screen name. A little late, Thank YOU for setting my mind st ease last night.
