  1. Yay…happy for you. I stressed for weeks about getting entertainment reservations. We sail in two weeks…sure hope the charter group on this weeks sailing leave the ship intact!!! (Jk folks).
  2. If I recall correctly you are on the 5/7 sailing. Try logging out and back in both website and app. I had to do that last week. And, I was able to book Donna Summer on website and PIR on app. You might be a little late since as the Bird said it opened at midnight. Good luck.
  3. Yay, thank you. I’m embarrassed to say..the PIR is a good part of why we chose Prima. Lol.
  4. So if we have speciality dining at 7 and PIR at 9:30… do you think we have enough time to visit cabin in FWD 13 and down to the theater? Thoughts?
  5. So…how do you get your name tag for the PIR show? Trying to plan dinner reservations around showtime. TIA
  6. POSH doesn’t really offer much, unlike the Vibe. It is small, there are some lounge chairs, umbrellas that rarely get put up due to wind, a bar (good drinks, friendly bartenders), with seats that are occupied by the Haven guests. No water feature. It was nice for @vacation44 because they were in the Haven and extended family was able to join them. But, for us “riff raff”…lol, we didn’t find the value at $59 let alone $219.
  7. We also paid $59 in early February. It was barely worth $59…and absolutely not worth $219. The Haven guests will be happy.
  8. And, that is probably the reason we will likely not spring for the Haven experience. It’s not an environment we are comfortable in…but that’s just us. My hubby use to say if we won the lotto he would get a butler…I laughed and told him I thought that’s what I am🤣
  9. This looks like so much fun and inter. Was this an excursion you did on your own? Did you book directly with the Chocomuseum? How long by taxi did it take you to get there from the port to the museum? TIA
  10. Gelato and Bake Shop look like a perfect way to spend some of the SH OBC. Yum.
  11. Thanks for the tip…we’ll have to try it sometime. Unfortunately we like to do every the crowds like to do.
  12. Based on your review, as well as others who have sailed recently during spring break…I vow now to never never ever cruise during peak times. It will be off-peak and shoulder season for us. I sure hope NCL brings in more help soon. Happy employees make for satisfied customers. And, right now it looks like NCL is failing. Enjoy your summer on the lazy River!
  13. Well for you the weekend getaways and the lazy River will be like a vacay…how fun!! We use to have a cabin on the lake we escaped to every Friday…it’s what got us through the hellish work week and the awful traffic. I‘ll just slow my roll while I wait for the @cruiseny4lifeJoy(ful) sequel. 😊
  14. @Amberle3 I said I typically tip. My comment you quoted was that I found many of the NCL excursions to be expensive, sometimes boring, or hokey. But thank you for more insight on how tour hosts may be compensated. Before I tip the host again, I will be sure to clarify whether they split with the driver or others.
  15. I can’t say I disagree with your assessments of the NCL tour guides and excursions. We typically tip (unless we don’t have the right denomination)…and generally it’s $10-$20. I think the guide shares with the bus driver—at least that is what I’ve been told.
  16. You’re a generous tipper. Why not the NCL excursion folks? Just curious??
  17. I, too, did the same exact thing last cruise. One for each port/excursion. On the tip envelope I wrote on the outside the anticipated people/amounts…so I could have the right amount of $1, $5, $10. It worked amazingly well, both in determining budget, but also staying on budget.
  18. I told you before that I expect your next cruise to be June or July. That one CN is ready to sail. 🤣
  19. OMG…I can only imagine how you felt with all your flight delays, cancellations and seedy motel experience….and the mob. I’m glad you began your review with a promise of a great cruise. Looking forward to hearing about the ports. We’re doing similar cruise on the Bliss later this year.
  20. Oh my. What a tragic event. I was unaware this had happened. God Blessed you that day.
  21. We’ve yet to do GSC or Harvest Cay…so I appreciate your cross-comparison. I guess it’s time to check to check them out. Gotta love another reason to cruise!
