We boarded Valiant Lady yesterday and had the exact same experience, which was a good thing. Being a Sailor club member we were boarded after the Rock Stars and before the Romance Group. We started to board at 1:50. We got to the port around 1pm. There’s no benefit in getting to the port early, since all you do is cue up and then wait in the waiting area.

Yes you can. We had a B2B cruise out of Miami last December and brought on four bottles of wine. Two of the bottles were held by security and were delivered the last day of our first cruise. This worked out well for us and would do it again.

Agree that bringing your own bottles is the best option to guarantee good wine. That’s what we did.

That’s great to know. We did not touch the four cans of red bull in our minibar or the bottle of white wine. Next time we’ll swap out the products that we don’t want.

Any updates on the BTS tour? If NCL is not going to reinstate this benefit then they should remove it from the tier description for Platinum and above. I find this a little deceitful. I was the Escape in July and there was no BTS tour and we will be on the Escape in February and we’re hoping for the tour. We are currently on Virgin’s Valiant Lady and they charge $200 for a behind the scene tour. We didn’t do it but may next time we cruise on Virgin.

We are Rockstar and we’re given six bottles of alcohol. Jack Daniels Whiskey Barcardi Rum Tito’s Vodka Teremana Tequila Bombay Sapphire Gin Buffalo Trace Bourbon All 375ml bottles. We ordered regular Coke, Tonic, and Orange Juice from our Rockstar agent with no issues. Plus we got lemons and limes. We ordered Ginger Ale but they didn’t have any. They also didn’t have any mint on Bimini so no Mojitos. We did order two but were told that they didn’t have mint so they offered to make them with mint extract. My wife tried one and she thought it was good. I decided to go with a Long Island Iced Tea. They didn’t charge us for either drink. What great service!! We called our Rock Star agent prior to getting on the cruise to try to customize the bar, but we were told that only Mega Rockstars could customize their bar. We were happy to see six bottles of alcohol.

Currently on the Valiant and all Deep Blue charges show up on your account and get removed on the last day - so we were told. We went to sailor services and they removed the $95 bottle of champagne, but the premium internet and Grounds Club charges remained on our account. Not the best system, but they are working to improve it. Sailor services told us that all the charges are manually reversed, which must be a pain for them to manage. BTW these are great perks and we’re fine with having to do the manual calculation to determine how much bar tab we have remaining.

We boarded Valiant Lady yesterday and we’re not able to connect to the ships wifi until we were on the ship. Make sure you turn on airplane mode to better connect to the ships wifi.

We have a B2B cruise booked in December and we were thinking about bringing a 3L (= 4 bottles) box of wine on board. Do you think Virgin would have an issue with this?
