  1. This is nothing new for Oasis. Was the same in May. They offered brunch on sea days, which had both lunch and breakfast items.
  2. Yes! They now fill all dining rooms for early seating and do not have a dedicated My Time Dining room. When the first seating tables turn over they start seating MTD passengers.
  3. Ships have been sailing at near 100% since Spring of 2022. You won't notice a crowd difference if you have sailed since then.
  4. We were also on Oasis in May. Must have been a different week because we had Aeromyth. However they did their shows in the theater and the Music Hall was the house band and some cabaret type shows.
  5. Oasis May 21st we got True brand smaller size bottles. We did book under the older package description so got what we reserved.
  6. on the 5/21 sailing the cast of Cats did a Cabaret in the Music Hall and the last night production of Cats was canceled due to cast member injury and they also did a similar show that night in the theater.
  7. On Oasis comedy is pre booked. We were on the May 21st sailing and the comedy shows were sold out quickly after the shows were released (we booked in advance) and they did not have a comedian show in the theater (we were expecting it and thought if they were good we would go again in the theater). They really weren't very good. OP, our experience on the May 21st sold out sailing was that there are plenty of seats for Cats. Aqua 80 usually had random standby seats and some seats together in the splash zone. The comedy shows you need a reservation to get s seat, but they open the doors for standby and the do not limit the number of people who want to do standing room in the back. Frozen in Time was a full theater, but I don't know how many of the seats were filled by the standby line. You should be able to see everything even without reservations by showing up early for the standby line.
  8. On Oasis a couple of weeks ago we were told there is no schedule and that the new Adventure Ocean is all free play.
  9. Have you sailed on other cruise lines lately? Some allow this, but Royal isn't one of them.
  10. I like this! She was activities director on Symphony before she got promoted and I remember her better than the cruise director at the time.
  11. On Indy last year we met the suite lounge concierge in Boleros. Our family along with a couple of others were taken through backstage areas to avoid the crowds (concierge used keys to open doors) and taken out on the deck where we waited at the gangway for all ashore. They opened the gangway and we were let off before they opened it for the people who were held inside.
  12. The Main Dining Room Tab disappeared from the app for our May Oasis Cruise. It was there earlier this week and all of the menus were there. Then the menus disappeared, but the Main Dining Room tab was still there and it had the little picture of the ship that says they are working on finalizing details. Now no main dining room at all. I have to assume the dining room still exists🤣🤣🤣, so I am guessing either they are making some menu changes or they are adding lunch/brunch menus.
  13. Did you get a second email that said you would not be getting it? I would call as you were promised it.
  14. We tip. I decide near the end of the excursion how much. I factor in time and service.
  15. When is your cruise? We sail in May and they have canceled, refunded and we got the OBC of $50/person.
  16. I think you had better check on whether your passport is good for your May voyage. Royal Caribbean said that the passport must have an expiration date more than 6 months after the last day of your cruise. We sail May 21st and son's expires November 19th and we were told the passport would not work. We could either renew prior to our cruise or cruise with photo ID and birth certificate. Would stink to get to the port and not be able to board.
  17. Information about religious services can be found here: Does Royal Caribbean Offer Religious Services On Cruise Ships? | Royal Caribbean Cruises
  18. So, I know the policy is that 1 standard size bottle of wine or champagne can be carried on by each adult. Just curious if anyone has any experience with wine or champagne based beverages. I am curious if anyone has had issues bringing pre mixed mimosas or wine based margaritas etc as their one bottle per person. We are not really straight up wine or champagne drinkers and really not drinkers much at all, but might enjoy a mimosa on the balcony and it would seem like a hassle to go hunt up OJ to mix with the champagne etc. A chilled pre mixed bottle in the cooler might be nice to have.
  19. Officially it is 12 bottles of any non alchoholic beverages per cabin and it must be in your carry on. you will hear reports of people being able to check it or being able to bring more than 12. YMMV.
  20. If you book at the last minute with few cabins left you will pay high prices, supply and demand. You have no way of knowing where you caught the flu as incubation can be 4 days. You could have had it when you got on the ship. Further, you probably gave it to others on your flight home (maybe people who were headed to a vacation). Should the people who you made sick blame the airline? Depending on how you look at it, viruses happen, but if you needed to blame someone it would be the person who boarded the plane with symptoms that could have been flu, covid or something else, but most certainly not the airline. Service and quality issues suck. Can't disagree there. But, honestly, if I was done with cruising I would move on. I would certainly not take the time to come to a cruise centric forum to complain.
  21. The "Basketball" court is really the sports court. Sometimes it will be used for various organized sports events, but will be open for guest use when not in use for a scheduled activity.
  22. See! That's why I was smart and booked in separate orders! 🤣😉
