I just sailed the Oasis Sept 25th. I booked that trip entirely because of the ship. Coco Cay is always nice too, and the grand suite was a bonus. You should definitely enjoy the ship. Oasis might be my new favorite, beating out Symphony and Harmony.

Hello, I am thinking of trying out Celebrity and have a question for people who play on there. one benefit listed for Sapphire is that you get $500 or 10% of “previous sailings gaming activity” in free play on your next cruise. I’m looking for clarification on this. My last RCI cruise, I played $4,000 of my own money and racked up 15,000 points in slots. That’s $75,000 cycled through their machines. If I had the same amounts on a Celebrity cruise, would that make my free play:? 10% of my original $4k (so the $500 min) or 10% of the $75k played/cycled ($7,500) ??? the second choice seems pretty generous and too good to be true. Thanks

That price is nuts. Here I thought the price offered on my Oasis cruise in a couple weeks was too high.

It can definitely work (depending on luck of course). on our last cruise (first comped trip and first time really playing serious in the casino), we racked up 5,800 points on my account and 3,700 points on my g/f’s account. Total loss was around $800.00 That got us both to Prime, so 2 trips to be booked later, plus our instant certificates got us a 9nt New Years cruise on Odyssey and a 7nt Egypt cruise, both balcony rooms. She has received 3 balcony random offers, and I’ve received 1 balcony and 2 suite offers. If we get nothing else from the play, that’s 10 cruises (balcony rooms or higher), for $800. Worked well for us, but YMMV. Good luck.

Guess I am in the minority here. My last 2 cruises (symphony in May, Harmony in July), I found the everyday steak to be fairly decent. Not phenomenal or anything, but better than I expected, lol. I just made sure to order on the rare side of medium-rare and it was tender with a good flavor. YMMV

Have a cruise booked out of Tampa, and looking at a cruise that ends in Miami the same day the Tampa one leaves. Is it doable to pull this off? Any recommendations on travel method between the ports? Have you ever done it? thanks

I am actually soloing that ship the sailing before yours. Will be my first solo sailing.
