silverspyder1996 Posted October 6, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2022 Hello, I am thinking of trying out Celebrity and have a question for people who play on there. one benefit listed for Sapphire is that you get $500 or 10% of “previous sailings gaming activity” in free play on your next cruise. I’m looking for clarification on this. My last RCI cruise, I played $4,000 of my own money and racked up 15,000 points in slots. That’s $75,000 cycled through their machines. If I had the same amounts on a Celebrity cruise, would that make my free play:? 10% of my original $4k (so the $500 min) or 10% of the $75k played/cycled ($7,500) ??? the second choice seems pretty generous and too good to be true. Thanks You are missing part of the verbiage ... Sapphire level guests, the greater of $500 or 10% of the previous sailing’s gaming activity. Either way the question seems to be a good one. With regard to the 10% calculation, my understanding it is not a direct calculation of played/cycled money but instead based on the tier points you earn from the prior sailing which is something that would require asking (casino host on board or calling Blue Chip Club?) to find out. Hopefully someone can speak to the exact nature of this calculation, but this seems to be an often-confusing topic for many ... here's another conversation here from last December that lends some insight others had to offer.
