I'm a visual person, so trying to decipher all the Dailies (posted by Jamie!!! 🙏) schedule in my head...my head was spinning so I had to put it in a drawing... I can just imagine all the people on the ship right now... getting their last slice of pizza... last plate of snacks... last cookie... last tall glass of their favorite spirits... listening to the last song... cashing in their remaining chips in for cash... picking out the last photos from the cruise... and then packing up and putting out the suitcases in the hallways... checking in and getting their boarding passes for their flights tomorrow... and planning their Uber ride to the airport... or deciding how to pay the $400 for parking.... I do dread the last night of the cruise...😥

when it was 27 days out from sailing... we were able to get the e-ticket PDF file sent to us... 🤷‍♂️

Hi Jamie, Do you have to have your boarding pass (or ticket?) on your app? Or are the printed paper tickets with barcodes sufficient? I web-checked in a few weeks ago and got my PDF tickets all printed out... now I see that my MSC App says Check-In partially completed but still need picture and Credit Card registered to get Boarding pass/tickets??? Is that really necessary to speed up boarding or can we do that at the terminal or on board while using the printed paper stuff? MSC could not be any more confusing with their pre-departure paperworks/apps/online-status, etc... Thanks!

As many times you go on that ship... MSC should just give you a personal storage locker for you on Deck 1... 😁 So another curious question... what time do you plan to be at the Port for your next embarkation?

definitely their Dining Packages have increased in price in just a few months time... I firmly believe this trend will continue with MSC as they gain more market share...

OK Thanks Jamie. so it looks like they did change the terms... So how does it work if we skip these dining plans and simply want to go to the Teppanyaki on our own? How much is the upcharge and the meals... Do you recall how that works out?

Many thanks for your reply Jamie! Quick follow up... so for our cruise as shown in the picture below, the 3 dining package doesn't list Teppanyaki as a choice... but do you mean we can skip the HOLA and go to Teppanyaki instead? (of course, we will have to pay the $10pp upcharge) Thank you again!

Hi Jamie, If you purchase these dining packages, are there any other extra charges (other than drinks and tip) added at the restaurant? Also, do you have to dine at everyone of these or can you choose to skip one and go to another one twice? Say skip the Mexican and go to Teppanyaki twice? Thank you.

Or is it also possible to make dining reservations before you get on board through the MSC App? Or in general, what do you guys recommend is the best practice to reserve dining options?

Hi Jamie, What general tips would you have for people on the embarkation day? We (family of 3) are driving to the port from a hotel nearby and parking at the dock (Brooklyn)... so I am most curious about the best time to arrive there... and then anything else you can tell us as we're taking one small step at a time through the long wait in line... 😊
