  1. I am going to keep this short, there were numerous relatively minor issues on the recent NCL Getaway cruise leaving NY on Feb 6 (shortened port stays, and one port cancellation, mediocre service at times, our room was not very clean, and lots of small things that were evident corner cutting). Most of these things would have been generally tolerable EXCEPT for the fact that our flight was cancelled right before connecting with our cruise (Not NCLs fault) but the NCL representative told us to book to the next port of call (which we did) and submit receipts for reimbursement after the cruise. AND NOW THEY ARE REFUSING TO HONOR THE AGREEMENT. I can handle a lot, but being lied to is a deal breaker. I am getting stonewalled by their customer service via email (there is no post cruise customer service phone line, once they have your money they couldn't care less). Any suggestions on where to turn from here?
  2. 2. I know you can get upgraded cocktails and bottles of water with the upgrade to Plus. Does this include cans of Soda. I like to keep a couple cans in my room for sitting on the balcony and I usually buy them. This would make the Plus much more valuable to me. >> It includes fountain drinks, not cans. 3. With Free at Sea Plus does each guest get unlimited wifi. Thank you for help with any of these questions. >> I believe it is only 150 minutes per guest for a 7 day cruise (or 300 minutes for a 12 day)
  3. I called today actually. It is open, but only for 5 year olds and up -- I am super bummed out because I have a 4 year old. I am thinking of canceling our trip. I opened a request/complaint ticket to see if they have plans to return pre-covid setup, and their service standard is 30 days to reply 😩 Both Disney and Royal Caribbean go down MUCH younger children

  5. that is a bit of a relief, thanks for replying. I don't suppose you know if there was an option for gluten free soy sauce or tamari anywhere? For some reason my daughter is hooked on the stuff on rice!
  6. Thanks for replying, have done that but they weren't able to offer much detail about the GF options or menu and said we would have to discuss it with the restaurant manager on-board. I mean a tomato or broccoli is GF, but good luck getting my daughter to eat either one
  7. My daughter is in kindergarten and food generally falls into 2 categories: Things she can't eat, and things she won't eat. Does anyone have good knowledge of how being celiac on a cruise is as far as options go? My daughter eats a lot of plain rice with soy sauce or hoisin (gluten free obviously), does anyone know if they stock things like that?
  8. I have to ask if the demographics of these boards match the demographics of cruisers! I assume more young people are active online than octogenarians
