Interesting as I saw a Tiktok post yesterday from Captain Kate back on the ship (she needed cat food) showing the Christmas trees on the Ship. Link to her video.

I just looked at what is scheduled for Puerto Plata for this Friday and then Feb 10, the 3 same ships are in port: Carnival Horizon - 4,716 passengers MSC Seascape - 5,877 passengers Celebrity Beyond - 3,373 passengers In total a maximum of just under 12,000. (if ships were full to capacity)

I did not know this about Puerto Plata but I'm like you probably will not get off the ship on that day. That island does nothing for me. I would love for them to change it to Turks and Caicos as we have friends who live there.

So when I do that the most recent update on Nov 29th does not appear. Also only my name appears in the order history is mine not my wife's. This concerns me now even more.

I have recently looked at my reservation on and noticed a few inconsistencies between what is on the website compared to what the invoice says. I know that at the end of the day the invoice rules. Because of this I am not able to "upgrade" drinks or internet as it only shows the full price. On my invoice it is noted correctly that I have All Included (Drinks, Internet & Gratuities) and my on board credits. On the website the gratuities are showing but the Drinks and Internet are not showing under extras and also $50 is missing on what is showing on my on board credits. I wonder if anyone else has this issue. I did email them.

Be sure to leave Bluetooth on when putting in airplane mode so that your phone can still communicate to your watch. You can find this in settings on the Apple watch.

Believe it or not but Chrome starts to behave strangely when there is an update, and this is by design by Google. You will find that this happens mostly with "java" programming. Also, when things start to behave strangely clear your Cache (CTRL/SHIFT/DEL). Geek moment over.

My Wife and I are avid F45 member and go 4-5 times a week. We are staying in Aqua Class and believe it or not I want to workout when on the cruise. I have a couple of question about F45 on the Beyond. 1. Do you have to reserve spots for the classes? 2. Do they have Lionheart? (this is their heartrate monitoring system) 3. How many people do they allow in a class?

Both, but the crew noise was usually due to Rum. 😆 We were a crew of 6 onboard and during sleep hrs 11pm-5am (3 hrs at a time) so we tried to talk quieter. It is an unwritten rule but you are not allowed to wear ear plugs are allowed due to the fact that you may need to be awake at a moment's notice. We are on the Eastern Caribbean to St. Maarten, St. Thomas & Puerto Plata. None of the shore excursions particularly peak our interest. We have been to St. Maarten & St. Thomas on previous cruises. How many other feel the same and what do you do on shore? I know that Great Bay Beach is a short walk away and is a definite possibility. At the ports in St. Thomas & Puerto Plata are there beaches near by and are they nicer then Great Bay Beach? I also know that saying on the ship is also a possibility (we have done that when visiting Nassau a couple times) but I feel I paid to visit the island so I want to at least do something.

I can confirm that the Great Lakes can dish out a storm. I was on Lake Ontario in a 300 NM regatta this summer and got hit by quite the storm. The boat was a 43' sailboat and we were getting tossed about by 10-12' (confused) waves. This lasted over 24 hrs. The noises were like nothing you have heard before, the boat and all aboard survived.

Side question on this... has any bid the minimum and had it granted?

I am a neurodiverse person who requires extensive planning. The only way I can accomplish the things I do are to keep spreadsheets, notes and other tools. Having an idea on what has previously been sch'd helps me organize so I don't get stressed out.
